I don’t let these narratives make a dent on me. I know that no matter what I do I’m upsetting someone and I stopped caring long ago.

I have a good job that allows me to afford a nice life for myself, this will upset some men here who think women shouldn’t be in my industry and that my job makes me unappealing as it’s a typically masculine job. If I earned less, I’d be a scrounger and a gold digger.

I have a boyfriend, this upsets men who would consider him a “chad” and that I didn’t give other men I’m not attracted to a fair shot. But if I did, I’d be “beta buxxing”.

I go to the gym and work out, this bothers men who think gyms are men spaces and that I shouldn’t be there. But if I didn’t work out, that would also enrage them for being lazy and complacent.

Live your life, let them die mad about it.

The “Men don’t care about women’s degrees/job/income” line is referenced not because it’s not a consideration at all, it’s because women generally reference these things as to why men should find THEM attractive. this has NO bearing on how attractive a woman looks to a man. If a man is thinking of a marriage as a purely tactical matter they WOULD consider a woman’s education/career a benefit, but they usually aren’t.

Women do in general become less beautiful with age , but so do women

The age is usually harder on women not because of look but because of fertility at least where i came from

Men fertility do decrese with age but to a lesser degree than women

But generally speacking any one tell you of a certain wall speciall 30 is an idiot and a red flag

But it is true that 40 yo mens can start a family and be desirable (not for looks but for maturity ,money and status) more than a 40 woman specially if the couple wants kids

It’s really not that difficult to understand, and not at all contradictory.

If a man is starving is he going to turn away food because it’s not prepared perfectly to his liking? No. It’s the same with men and sex. There is a difference between preference, and your lowest possible standard. Studies have shown that specifically surrounding sex men have a much higher disgust threshold than women. So yes while men may not find fat women to be all that attractive, they will fuck them from time to time.

Edit: A married man will also admit that over time his attractedness to his wife may move beyond merely a physical thing. Most men don’t think their 40 year old wife that they’ve been married to for 20 years is no longer attractive because she’s not 20 years old anymore.

I couldn't be attracted to someone who was morbidly obese but I couldn't be attracted to someone who was unhealthily thin either. I think most women would agree with those preferences.

Saying "its only okay when men say it" is laughable as, at least in mainstream discourse, its almost as if the opposite is true.

What I am kinda noticing (and equally sick of) is the influx of female losers on this sub, often operating from a point of perpetual victimhood whilst constantly strawmanning. Men get stronger emotional responses on guilt and shame.

Women have eroded the impulses of guilt entirely and currently have pushback campaigns against shame.

Which means.. one is more controllable based on guilt and shame responses.

I observed this when i had a relationship and went out with a female friend and she went out with her guy friend.

She got irritated and started attacking me with guilt and shame, that i would sleep with my female friend, and that i had probably affairs. I laughed it off.

While it was no problem for her close guy friend inviting her to a coffee, prior when i decided to see what was happening when i meet up with an old friend.

It was ok when she did it, and mostly had positive support, and everyone in her life didn’t had a problem with her seeing a very good close guy friend.

It wasn’t ok when i did, and got some of the most horrible shaming attempts possible.

And then i realized, women have no guilt response when it comes to these things.

And only what matters is being your own judge, and not let guilt or shame manipulate you against your own self best interests.

Single Women over the age of 35 as a whole will do almost anything to be in a relationship besides abandon the toxic habits of their twenties that got them to where they are in the first place.

Women are free to be attracted to whoever they like, but they aren't entitled to respectable partners if they choose to be aloof or unapproachable in the 2nd half of their lives.

Women want men to flirt with them, treat them, and give them the attention they received in their twenties for an entire lifetime; it's just too big of an ask.

Ultimately, both sides could stand to learn a thing or two in humility; not counting on it though.
