Chad is just the man who is at the top of whatever social hierarchy he belongs to, You can be Chad in a fraternity, you can be Chad at your office, you can be Chad at your local card shop tournaments, you can be Chad at an anime convention. Our social structures are too free and nuanced for one over arching Chad like figure.

Usually you can’t be high on the social hierarchy without having looks, which means good genes and a healthy life style.

Chad can be a player, he can be married, he can be monogamous, he can be in an open relationship, but the thing that matters about how he relates to women is that he has the choice in each step, while men who are average or below are subject to the whims of the women if he wants to interact with them.

I think many people have this idea that elite tier men have MORE leverage than the women they are happy to pursue, whereas genuinely typical men (in whatever cohort is typical to you) have less leverage than the women they are happy to pursue. Chadness is that sense of someone who operates on a reverse sense of value / privilege / accommodation for the women you idealize. You are attracted to those women; those women are attracted to Chad. You do down bad shit for those girls; those girls do downbad shit for Chad. Obviously this definition is as practical and sensible as someone’s sense of typical and who they are vs who they’re attracted to.

Chad is just the incxl’s boogie man. It changes based on the individual and what they struggle with.

For young men who struggle to be social or make friends, he’s the smiling, popular kid who everyone flocks to - often suggested to have a secret mean streak and to be a “dick”, but sometimes he’s just a lovable idiot who doesn’t recognize his “privilege”.

As perceived by men who crave access to the world of casual sex, he’s a womanizing cad, who pump and dumps his way through millions of Stacy’s who are both totally shallow and narcissistic… but the luckless dude also wishes she’d be shallow and narcissistic about pursuing him. She just “only chases Chad”. Usually both Chad and Stacy are bad people, because they are hot and have sex without thinking about all the poor virgins who have to sleep alone.

There’s also Niche Chad, who is the dude who is most successful in his specific circle or niche. And anyone who is uniquely gifted in something to the point they have status and people admire them for it inside their circle (artists and athletes come to mind), seems to also be called Chad sometimes.

Any man who has success has the potential to be someone’s Chad.

When i hear "Chad" i think of it as "a guy who's genetically gifted", so a tall, handsome guy who's got a muscular build with little to no actual training. So, a guy who's naturally attractive without having to put in any extra effort, as long as he has basic hygiene he can pull almost any woman.

So, "Chad" is a naturally attractive guy who doesn't need money, working out or game to pull women, he simply can.

Chad is a conventionally attractive man that women can't help but give "special treatment/favor" towards. A women can tell her friends and past non Chad lovers that she would never date a guy who is or does "xy&z". But then Chad shows up and all her "values" "red flags" and "icks" goes out the window.

Women says she never sleeps on first date, sleeps with Chad on first date.

Women says she would never date a "conservative". Dates gun wielding, anti abortion and build the wall Chad.

Women says men only cares about sex and it's disgusting. Becomes Chads personal submissive fuckhole and fufills his every wish and kink she told herself she would never do.

Women says she values personality and a healthy stable relationship. Dates on and off with physically and mentally abusive Chad.

With Chad there are no penalties for breaking boundaries everything is overlooked and forgiven. He can get away with pretty much anything and women will still love him for it and put him on a pedestal. I have seen it in real life multiple times.

For example: When I went to highschool I had many girls in my class who were adamant selfproclaimed feminists. They would discuss and argue a lot about feminist topics in school and stand up for women rights. Men are abusers who opress women and we must fight misogyny at every corner.

Well one of the girls in my class who was the most outspoken feminist had a thing for (found him attractive) a guy in my class aka her "Chad". Chad in my class was popular with a big social circle and had his "boys". One time Chad and his boys found themselvs in some drama. A groupchat they used had been leaked and the girl who had a thing for chad had gotten a hold of it. In this leaked groupchat Chad and his boys had said dome disturbing and disgusting things. Many of those disgusting things were directed towards her. You see Chad and his boys didn't really like this girl too much, they actually found her very annoying. Because of that they had messaged eachother in "disturbing" detail about how they should grape and murder the annoying girl in my class.

You would think that after finding out how misogynistic and disgusting Chad is she would be repulsed and avoid Chad but no. Chad halo effect is too strong. Even though she was an outspoken feminist and Chad tramples on all her values it doesn't matter as you will soon find out. A year later after this incident and after we had all graduated highschool I was invited to a party with some of my former classmates. I didn't go it but some of my friends did. One of my friends was close with Chad and met him at this party. At the party Chad told my friend he is hooking up with the same girl he wrote that he wanted to grape and murder. Apparently they had a FWB relation and he showed my friend nudes of her as proof (so I know this is true).

This is a Chad and a Chad can do everything "wrong" but get everything "right".

He’s a young high value man who acts like a typical young high value man by procuring casual sex much easier than other men due to his confidence, high physical attributes, and often his status. I consider men like this of any race to be “Chads”, although men who are not white often have different, kind of racist names.

Older more financially established men of high value are not really Chads. It could also be argued that “Chad” connotes a man who comes from an economically privileged background. But I don’t think that this distinction is necessary to the argument that high value young men who do much better sexually than the typical young man are out there and that men envy these men and want to be like them.

A young man who uses his high value to be in a monogamous relationship could potentially be a Chad. But he’s not acting like a typical one, so guys probably aren’t going to call him that, I think.

As other users have said, Chad is primarily a physical specimen, it doesn't have that much to do with how many women he has slept with, he could be with his high school sweetheart for 4 decades and still be a chad, and there could be a guy who is moderately good looking, has epic game and has slept with 3 digit number of women, he's still not a Chad in my opinion, for his lays are more skill based.

Chad is the guy who is a physical type for the largest number of women. He he's tall, muscular, and very good looking. The guy who is sitting quietly by himself and yet women are secretly checking him out. He doesn't have to be funny or charming, he can truly be himself and women would still want to be with him.

Doesn’t need to be a frat bro, doesn’t need to be a college athlete, he could get hookups if he wanted but isn’t defined by actually participating in the hookup culture.

Chad is just a name to talk about any attractive man that can easily attract attractive women. The Chadiest Chad I knew was an autistic anime loving D&D playing dude, never touched a weight in his life, but he was 6’3, white, blond, looks like a male model, and women were all over him despite the fact he spent majority of his time playing Fortnite.

Brad Pitt is a Chad -- even pushing sixty, his facial harmony, masucline frame, wealth, and status would still reel in attractive 20-somethings on near-demand.

Mick Jagger is a Chad -- ugly as sin, but a once-in-a-lifetime rockstar and playboy.

The head expediter at an upscale restaurant chain is also a Chad -- gets in good with all the waitresses, but doesn't have to be the best-looking dude to work his charm.

Being Chad doesn't involve a strict checklist -- if he can attract and keep cuties on a roster with minimal effort, he makes the cut.

The basic meaning is: any man who's more successful with women than you. Beyond that, a man who's handsome, athletic, wealthy, successful, a magnetic personality, and so forth.

It's at least understandable as to why the "Chads" are successful with women. Why wouldn't women be interested in a handsome, confident man? People who use the term are often envious that they don't possess the same traits.

What's a lot more perplexing to me is the appeal of worthless, pathetic losers with no job, no ambition, who spend their day using dope, and usually aren't that good looking. In my experience, these are the men most successful with women, at least if you want to talk number of partners. I have a family member who's minimum qualification is two felony convictions, and more than one co-worker who decided a gang member would be a good father for their baby. I could go on, but I really can't understand what about them is so captivating.
