If women dont approach men they want , they select for the type of men who approach women. Which tends to go along with a lot of unsavory traits, psychopathy/narc/mach etc. Those are the men who approach the most women

It is rare for the vast majority of women to approach men, even ones they are attracted to. This could be biology, socialisation, or a combination of both, but either way, women (especially the ones you describe who have near-limitless options) will rarely go after a man they are attracted to.

I do agree women should also take the initiative when it comes to dating. I know one success story of a woman taking the initiative with a man and now they are happily married. If women believe in equality, then women initiating is also fair game.

The problem is they are still trying to fit the expectation of society just as men do which is the man initiates and the woman simply waits. It's mostly a subconscious feeling from the result of growing up knowing this is the expectation of society. I think it's time to change that so that both men and women can equally initiate and it wouldn't look out of place.

I don't agree that it's the only way. Regardless if a man or a woman is doing the approaching, there is always a risk, and the possibility that you aren't compatible, so it's not necessarily sunshine and rainbows simply because the woman is doing the approaching.

A lot of guys aren't emotionally available to even romantically date a woman, based on my experience from approaching dudes.

From my experience, more often that not they just want sex, or their heart has been broken by someone who cheated on them, or they were in a serious relationship and are now single, so they just want to play the field.

Or the guys who do want gfs, just want a woman for the sake of having a gf, not because they are truly ready to include a woman in their life.

I think the best quality person for anyone comes in divine timing, while one is patient and waits. A woman who approaches a lot of men, or every man who strikes her fancy is putting energy out into the universe that she needs someone to complete her, which means she has a complex about herself.

Women I know who actively chase ‘high quality men’ or at least their version of it are usually doing a lot of work behind the scenes in terms of placing themselves in the vicinity of where these men will be, sometimes even doing research on it, and making sure they look a certain way when around them, so i guess that’s proactive in their own way. Idk if they approached them first or not though.

Reearchers sat in bars and watched and women do initiate interactions with men 50-70% of the time. They don't walk up and ask them out, but they do make eye contact and smile so the guy comes over. Apparently this is invisible to men on this sub but it does happen. My husband outright says that he wouldn't have asked me out if I hadn't made it clear the answer would be yes.

I used to approach men I like when I was younger but I always get rejected coz men find it repulsive when a woman pursues a man. So I stopped chasing men. Eventually I got the men that I liked, they are the ones chasing me. But the moment I pursue them back, they push away. My fiance is different tho, he pursues me, I pursue him too. Mature adult relationships should be okay with pursuing each other.

There are ways to convince them that you are the man that they like, but it's hard, and you probably have to go through all kinds of shit to do it. Have you ever seen the movie the Quiet Man? Well in that movie, the girl never really liked John Wayne, until he beat the shit out of her brother. These are the kind of things I'm talking about, you have to do something that is over the top, something that makes her excited or happy, that will be noticed by her, and then she will lower her standards for you, but in her eyes it's not really lowering her standards, it's more like you finally reached her standards.
