In my opinion, dread game can be applied correctly without being too abusive.

Reason being is just psychology. Not just on women but on men as well, but TRP focuses on women because it's primarily a straight male sub.

That's because, people are more attractive when they feel WANTED, not NEEDED. Distancing yourself, talking to other women (in a non-sexual/romantic way), getting yourself into other hobbies Shows the woman "I want you, I don't need you. And if push comes to shove, I can easily move on, and find someone else." Which can often make your partner more attracted to you.

Even in platonic friendships. If a friend of mine was doing nothing but hanging out with me, calling me all the time, and making plans with no one but me, I'd immediatly think he's needy and not good at making friends, and that'd be unattractive. If he has a life, and is doing other things, and sometimes misses my calls, I assume that he has a life. But I will think he's a cool friend because he wants to be my friend, not NEEDS to be my friend.
