Personally I believe in abortion due to that fact alone. I don't care too much about the argument of consciousness or life, as I mean we kill things like cows all the time and a highly undeveloped baby to me is less meaningful than a living animal, and of course i won't deny that it could be a soul or that it could be conscious or that it is alive. It is, by definition, living. But, none of that is important to me, because it's what happens after. Could the person who aborted regret it? Absolutely. Could they feel bad about it? Yes. The only time the state cares about finding a baby's father is when the woman wants to keep the baby and get child support from him, and the state doesn't give a shit if the wrong man is paying, as long as some man is paying.

Many men literally, physically, cannot have sex with a condom. And getting a vasectomy is not like going on and then off the pill. For some reason wider society has it in their heads that vasectomies are reversable. That is not the right perspective at all. In some cases a surgeon can work a miracle and fix something that was previously broken. It absolutely should never be done with the intention of reversing it in the future.
So the only option left is 'go monk'. When people tell women that they shouldn't have sex if they don't want to have the baby that's an across the line remark. But I've seen lots of people tell men they should be celibate if they don't want someone else to determine their future for them.
Reproductive rights are wildly lopsided. It's a simple fact.

Let's say you're right. Men get one form of birth control. It happens to have the highest failure rate and ruins the experience more than any other.
Women get several options before sex is ever on the table from pills to patches to injections to implants. They get options in the moment of sex; condoms, sponges. They get options immediately after; Plan B. And they get a 100% cannot fail option for months afterward called abortion.
Did you know there are numbers you can call or websites you can go to where you fill out an address and they will mail you Plan B pills for free?

I don't think it's justified that a woman can drop a baby off for adoption without agreement from the father, which currently happens. If the father is unknown then he should be found and given an opportunity to be a parent to his child should he not?

I think where I differ from a lot of the people in this subreddit is that I'm not a feminist and I think society is better and people are happier when we conform to some of the gender roles we've started to step away from. I think responsibility comes with freedom and for me this subreddit is the female equivalent of /r/maliciouscompliance. You can't have your cake and eat it too, if women want strict equality then they shouldn't be getting all of the systemic privileges men have set up for them to this point.
Men have superior biology and that sucks for women, but we can't pretend to be equal at the same time as giving them extra rights to make up for their shortfall. They either stand tall as feminists and compete on their merits or accept that they're the weaker sex and be grateful to men for helping them. I don't accept standing tall and defiant and angry while simultaneously accepting hand outs and leg-ups.

I think you are misusing the word rights. Having options aren't rights.
And not all of those work for women either. Many women can't be on hormonal birth control at all or their hormones are completely out of whack, they feel sick, effects their health, can even kill them if they're prone to clotting. The only NON hormonal option is a copper IUD which has some of the worst side effects out there, like being on your period 24/7 and extreme cramps (who cares if you can have protected sex when you don't even want to have sex anymore because you're bleeding at all times and in pelvic pain), and that's not even going into all the other side effects of that thing.
Thing is, all options suck for someone. Birth control is finding the lesser of the evils. Women that rave about their birth control are happy because they finally found a good one that doesn't make them feel so awful that they don't even want to deal with it or have sex at all. That's not the case for tons of women who's body tolerate being changed by hormones every day of their life
