Possibly they meet the girls through the drug scene, but mainly it’s likely not that they are doing drugs but more that they have the type of personality to do drugs and not care which doesn’t demonstrate neediness which is attractive to women.

A couple theories right off the bat

1) those women see those guys as a ‘project’ and so they fall for them and then try to take care of them. in other words, they attract codependents

2) drugs = fun, women want to be around someone who’s fun

3) drugs are often social and having a social circle makes it easier to make a potential partner

4) additionally, the lowered inhibitions within that social circle might make it easier for 2 potential partners to bond

5) drug use may indicate more risk-taking behavior which again projects as more fun and interesting than “straight and narrow”

I don’t fully believe in this stereotype but I think where it is true one of these 5 could be the reasons why, among other things

Misplaced cause and effect.

It's not the drug taking that gets you laid. It's personality traits that lead people to addiction also lead then to getting laid more.

It's also that drug users hang out with a crowd of people with low inhibition. If your doing drugs, your not going to be regulating your other pleasurable behaviours.

I got laid more when I started drinking more, because I was with a different crowd of people. Previously I was doing the straight and narrow.

I believe society has become more and more attracted and obsessed with drugs or drug abuse.

I am a recovering drug addict and your right.

I could always hold down a job, I am a good person and support my habit off my own earned money. I don’t rob or steal (anymore / long story and has a history of its own) But I’ve been with women who only drink every so often . And are against drugs. But was okay with me doing them and even selling them. (If they had kids I wouldn’t even mention it or ask or hide it I would just simply not bring that shit to they’re house or around they’re kid)

But it was almost like it turned em on, or they was simply curious wanting to know more about it. (One chick was even related to one of the DTF - Drug task force / police in my town) And I trusted her and nothing bad ever came from it but she wanted me to show her how I weigh shit and bag it up and was kinda amazed at how much money I would make but I’m a honest and real down to earth type of guy and every time someone who’s not fully aware of that life style I tell them what’s up.

I was young and shoulda just stayed away from women who had kids and didn’t do shit but I kept both parts away and didn’t show up zombified .

But man….. got some crazy ass stories and shit.

Like

A lot of these chicks are simply just nymphos and yeah every guy likes to fuck all the time but I was at one point selling and doing speed . And the one chick who was also against drugs she didn’t smoke or drink. But loved when I would come over about 1 or 2 days no sleep, high as fuck cause then it’s like … 6-7 hours and a 90% chance for a big MAYBE. That I’ll even get off.

And she would just want to take her time and she would go down on me for (no joke) 2 hours just laying in bed watching TV.

Man when u don’t get off you fucking hurt the next day tho, And you feel like shit cause no sleep and the drugs.

But when you felt amazing you felt AMAZING.

Of course the pros and cons are

You have to take something to feel that way or just feel normal

Living a healthy lifestyle you feel amazing everyday and is a no brained the best and smartest choice out of the two.

Getting clean or trying to re build or work on your relationships with your family or kids. Will ALWAYS be the better choice. Stay safe folks. Don’t do drugs.

This isn't representative of most men, both addicts and clean
There will be some men with drug addiction problems who are very attractive to women- some because of the bad boy persona, others because of the type of crowd (women) they are around on a regular basis. Very few specifically because of the drugs- this just happens to be incidental.

PS - I have worked at a drug rehabilitation center for the past 5 years so I do have some extra insight.

It's NOT the drugs. After reading many comments here, I hope mine doesn't get lost because I feel I have some good insight on this topic.

I had two friends in my past who both got laid A SHIT TON, with really hot girls. The first was a drug addict since 15 years old and sold them as well. He was a tiny asian dude, around 5'7 fully grown, skinny af too. The second was a cop who never touched drugs his whole damn life. He was pretty attractive but not that much (not one of those huge military dudes). And he was disciplined.

What did they have in common? They were assholes, didn't give a fuck about women and gave off an extreme "bad boy" vibe.

The first guy had lots of problems, and yeah women probably wanted to "fix him" as well, but it was mainly his attitude of not giving a fuck about anything (other than drugs). The second guy was a huge asshole and would always get laid by just being super confident and not giving a fuck what he said to these women, and not being affected when something didn't go his way. And by having lots of cool cop stories (the "not boring, bad boy" aspect).

To sum up: yes there's an aspect to guys with a lot of problems that women "want to fix". However, it's a small part of it and you can achieve a similar or better result, perhaps with higher quality women, by working on yourself, your confidence, and being not boring in other ways. And definitely not being nice to women all the time, which will come off natural and not forced when you get to the point where your self worth isn't affected by women's reactions and perspectives of you.

B, they have a terrible home life and want a guy like there shit father to date them.
