I was thinking how many blind spots we have in life regarding our own weaknesses. Sometimes seeing it from a third person point of view helps with personal insight.

For me it was nutrition. I'd eat and drink whatever and feel that so long as I worked out, it would even out. But I felt terrible physically and mentally. Eventually I realized what I was doing and made a strong effort to not just eat right, but damn right. Once I was stricter with nutrition, I became stricter with my dating standards and my game. My self-respect improved and women noticed. It made me realize that I was allowing myself to be ok with getting "just enough" and not trying to reach my potential. It was more a mental than a physical improvement, though I did feel loads better physically.

So what's yours?
