Please read this all before you comment. That’s all I ask.

I have been relentlessly abused and manipulated by women throughout my life. As a white man in his mid 20s, I have been through more BS than you could believe. 99% of it was due to women. And constantly I have been told I deserve it, or people just don’t believe it, purely because I’m a white man.

I have spent the last 3 or so years constantly drunk. I was rarely sober. I held a gun to my head on many occasions and ended up needing severe therapy. And through it all, I didn’t have many men in my life, and all the women dismissed my problems, although they probably made them worse. I was in desperate need of seriously professional help.

Until one day I stumbled across a video of Charlie Kirk in an interview. I started watching more and more. Not so much the debates, but more of the interviews and such.

For the first time in my life I felt understood, and valued. Somebody said out loud the things I believed about modern women, and society as a whole.

I am not even remotely political, but it was a relief to me to see that there’s still some basic decency and logic still in the world. It has helped me sober up, and keep working on myself. I’m slowly becoming more and more functional.

It was hard to watch what happened today, as I admired him. And even harder to watch people say he deserved it. I felt weirdly connected to him, as I felt like he understood me.

So before you go and call him or myself a racist or sexist or anything like that, I urge you to go watch some videos of him, and try to keep an open mind.

I owe my life to Charlie Kirk. And if you think he deserves to die, then you say that people like me deserve to die too.

I know Reddit is a pretty hostile place for posts like this, but just know this truly comes from a place of peace, love, and appreciation. Which whether you believe it or not, that’s what Charlie Kirk believed in.

I am heartbroken by today’s events, and I wish his family the best in these hard times.
