Another case of a false rape allegations where the accuser gives no proof, only words. The accused is considered guilty. Best thing you can do is get a lawyer, and more importantly create awareness for this problem of false rape allegations.

Send your story to big newspapers, media in Denmark. Get laws changed so false accusers are punished and must give proof!

Danish guy here: You(and everyone else in this discussion) should keep in mind of things:

1) The police can detain you for 24 hours if you are a suspect of a crime. That has nothing to do with the case or the girl who accused you, its a consequence of living with Danish laws. Granted, she is the one who caused your arrest, but the fact is that it is "just something you have to put up with", and it makes sense. Its the acceptable compromise between detaining someone indefinitely while a case is built and between not being able to detain anyone until a case is built.

2) You can get reimbursement for any time you have spent in jail, for any criminal charge raised against you and later dropped, and so on. I don't know the details on this, but it is possible.

3) The police has to accept and investigate any charges you raise. They can not refuse to take a charge. Sure, most of the times they will just tell you that you'll get nothing out of filing the charge because the case is unclear or because there is no evidence. But if you insist, they have to take it and will investigate.

4) One should assume that the rape accusation she raised would cause her to go to the hospital for an examination. Was this done? I would assume that any lack of e.g. sperm in her body would cause her testimony to be rendered invalid.

5) Isn't the friend a witness on this in any way? Or how about the guy who came to pick them up?

tldr: Call a lawyer.

Go after her civilly. She is liable for slander, assault, property damage, etc. And, continue to file your claim with the police against her for property damage and assault, and if Denmark has something similar, get a restraining or stalking order, or order of protection, against her. It will help your case to follow the prescribed "victim services" path they set out for people who are victims, even if they intend it for women. It's an uphill battle for sure, but one you must do to protect yourself and your honor and dignity. Also, they may come back at you with that rape charge, so having your own set of counter-charges really helps balance the equation.

The problem with issues like this is that there are worthless liars on both sides of the gender split that fuck over those who do get raped or are falsely accused of it.

There are heavy penalties for rapists if caught and there needs to be the same for false victims. Trying to manipulate the system and get someone innocent locked up is an incredibly serious matter and should be treated as such.

Hopefully they did some sort of verification like a rape kit to determine if there was any contact and your name will be cleared.
