Just wanted to share a bit of good news that I happened upon today. I was scrolling the Self Improvement tag on TikTok and most of the posts by young men (aged ~16-25) advised giving up porn - many of them even put it as their number one piece of advice for self improvement.

Just something I wanted to share with the community, as I was a bit surprised but also pleased to see that it’s becoming way more mainstream even among young “masculine” men.

Edited to add: I’m fully aware that most of these men are giving up porn for selfish reasons (mostly so their pp doesn’t stop working), and it’s not a feminist awakening. I’m not saying these are HVM, I’m not saying that we should be dating these men, I know this is the absolute floor for decent behavior. However, it’s very interesting to watch this culture shift a bit and it’s certainly preferable than the continued proliferation of porn.
