The UK Guardian newspaper www.guardian.co.uk has several articles blaming men for everything in women's lives DAILY. They have a totally prejudiced moderating strategy that shuts up any men who object or who point out the sexism in these post. I have posted many many posts - very polite posts - challenging the prejudice and pointing out the endless stram of such articles. I have had dozens of them 'removed by moderator' over recent months and I have been put on 'comment preview' three times, where every comment I post to their site is previewed before being posted. My posts just never even make it to the articles.

Two things. Your first edit was correct, and they are just total shits for reverting it. "This is a feminist space" means that they just want an echo chamber. It's the same as a safe space. No dissenting opinions, no counter points, no discussion.

However, I suspect you may have made other edits. That simple edit may have been caught in a large revert set.

Secondly, using anonymizing proxies to get around bans is pretty bad. Don't do that. I can entirely understand why they would want to ban you for that alone. Using those proxies just for anonymity, thats fine, but for ban evasion, thats not OK. Let them have their zone of stupid.

Im not sure why you feel it is so necessary to make this edit on their Wiki. If I saw a bunch of liberals getting butthurt that conservapedia wasn't accepting their edits, I wouldnt have a lot of sympathy. It's a silly fight to pick, and a waste of everyones time.

IMO, the great thing about Wikis is not that each one can represent everyone, but that there is a Wiki for everyone.

The 6 month ban is unreasonable, but they were right to revert your edit (within the framework of their braindead ideology).

The line correlates directly with the following, and the "men" is needed to cross the "male" reference that the point is trying to make as made clear with the following line. Changing this to people nullifies the point and that entire block should be removed or rewritten, not simply have a change as proposed.

Obviously the point of this post is the aftermath of the edit, which in all accounts seems valid, but the edit itself was poorly implemented and the administrator had the right of it by reverting, as it should be on an editor to provide valid new content, not the approver to realize a new wording if the former was effective.

I, too, am confused about the reaction for this specific edit. I found it to be entirely reasonable. The edit includes women and non cis-gendered peoples (isn't that also an important cause for them?) in the group of people who disagree with feminist propaganda in general. Of which there are MANY, myself being one of them.

By so staunchly sticking to this gendered speech, not only are they pretending they have no divisive opinions from women, but that derision is inherently a male specific trait. At this point I'm kind of surprised they even allowed the word "some" in that sentence.

While I'm aware this is a very biased issue on all sides, I at least expect some measure of discussion to take place rather than outright banning and ignoring.
