Female sterilization is a long process and it’s a common female complaint that they’ll be asked many times if they’re sure and to think and to ask their partner. However I think this is just and valid. This is a very big life change.

However, men should get the same process. I’m not intimately aware of how vasectomy approvals go but it seems it’s much easier. Which is bad because something as huge as permanent sterility should be a multiple step multiple person process. You can’t come back from a vasectomy easily and it might never be OK again.
