This seems so simple and obvious, and yet many women don't seem to understand it. If you expect a man to pay for a date and he does, he's obviously going to expect something in return because he's not giving to charity. When people spend money, they expect something in return, and in the context of dating, men will expect sex, or a second date and so on. Intelligent women understand this, and therefore they pay for their own stuff on a date so as to not get the man to expect anything.

Unfortunately, an insane number of women don't think like this. They seem to be so self-centred and focused on getting what they want from a man that they never stop to think about how he feels or what he may expect in return. Some women actually think if a man pays for a date then he really likes them and won't just use them for sex, which is stupid.

You would think that considering history, women today would want to pay for themselves on dates and be independent and not need a provider, unlike women in the past who had no choice but nope. It's 2023 and plenty of women still choose to be dependent on men, and they think this is empowering just because the men spend money on them, and yet they're surprised when these men expect things in return.
