I am an attractive, intelligent guy with lots of personality and charm (vast majority of people tell me this, not my grandma 😘.)

Yet I still struggle to some degree. I get attention most places I go and am able to engage with women and keep/build their interest most of the time.

But escalating to followups that result in sex or relationships? Still difficult, even for me. Most of the time they flake, and there are still plenty of women less attractive than me who act like I am scum beneath their shoes. The vast majority of women I actually close (succeed in dating or fucking) are women I am regularly exposed to and build a connection with organically.

My looks and charm only serve as window dressing, and beyond superficial attention don’t get me much more than a confidence boost. So I can only imagine how badly more average men are struggling.

This is why I find it ridiculous and infuriating to come here and see idiots make absurd statements like “if you are still struggling despite A, B and C it’s on you bruh.” This is what’s known as a just world fallacy, and ultimately serves to absolve women of any complicity in the current disaster that is modern dating.
