If I like someone, I'll usually let them know, life is too short for games. But I do tend to maintain eye contact more, I spend more time talking with them (like if we're at a party or out with friends), I'll message them more. But that's just me, I can't speak on what every other woman out there would do if they like someone.

Me personally:

If he's flirting with me and making me blush, I close my eyes or look away or even cover my face. If I'm flirting with him, eye contact!
Is he flirting or telling a joke or just generally existing, because that tends to decide which kind of giggle he's getting.
The conversations I've had with besties are pretty different from a guy I was considering a relationship with. I'm not usually seeking commonalities or excuses to hang out with my besties. I'm not asking about their family, their job, how they spend weekends, their values, their sexual interests, their past relationships. I mean if they bring um up, I'll discuss it, but over-all, my besties are about our shared hobbies and shared whimsy for life. The deeper shit comes later. If I'm asking deep fuck questions, it's because I'm looking at dem forearms and thinking yummy.
Are you being weird? Cuz I look at weird and then I usually laugh and tell a friend what I'm seeing. Are you hot, cuz I'm probably gonna keep that to myself and just try to get caught looking.

Look, if I'm into a guy, I'm all over him like butter on bread. I don't play it cool. I'm flirting, I'm laughing, I'm in his base hacking his shit.

Nervousness that often comes out as giggling, looking away, stealing glances etc. Liking your stories more than once in a short period of time. Finding excuses to make small talk or ask questions (bonus if they seem awkward about it and aren’t usually a talkative person).

None of these are inherently flirting these are just regular behaviors at least to me. I laugh at ppl when theyre funny, i look people in the eyes if were talking, and if i like someone I ask them out.

Finding an excuse to always go where he is. If a woman just happens to show up where you are all the time even briefly, it’s probably a sign. This depends on the environment you’re in though.

I try to strike up a conversation based on things he's interested in, for example if I see he's wearing a band shirt I'll ask him about that band.

I was always about as subtle as a gun. I would make every excuse to talk to them. I have straight up asked men if they were single which is what I did to my husband. I also am upfront about my feelings- if I really like you I want you to know and I will tell you.

I expect him to break the boundaries that would be the norm for a given situation, demographic, culture, etc. and then i signal him it was okay to break the norms but refraining from acting in accordance to a norm breaking.

People call that flirting. You might want to look into it.
