Sadly that sub is highly feminist and, honestly, frequently self-hating. They don't like anything that runs counter to the easy narrative of men doing bad things to women, especially when it's women doing bad things to men. This is the primary aim of subs like Menslib. They're there to silence and control men and deflect any blame from women in general and feminists in particular. They pretend at reasonableness, but they're anything but reasonable. They know exactly what their mission is.

Interesting that people were far more supportive on r/aspergers than on the r/menslib subreddit that's supposed to be specifically about supporting men.

That's the issue with feminist-centered "male advocacy." The feminist narrative itself is gynocentric, meaning that it can at best only support men's issues so long that support doesn't involve criticizing bad behavior by women.

Thus they're perfectly comfortable going on about how men are negatively affected by other men's bad behavior, e.g. "toxic masculinity," male-on-male violence. But they'll downplay cases where women are the ones responsible for abuse.

There was this post a couple of months ago about the war in Ukraine, and one commenter said that sometimes you have to make sacrifices to live freely. I took issue with that statement because; those men didn’t make sacrifices they were sacrificed, it was only the men that were required to stay, and that they weren’t given the option to decide it’s worth it.

My comment got deleted for breaking the rules and I got a thirty day ban for my first offense. When I asked why I was banned for my first offense and what rule I broke the mods response was, and I quote “Nah” and now I’m unable to contact the mods ever again

Menslib has a history of invalidating and gaslighting male victims of female rape/domestic abuse. Years ago, a male victim posted his story and was soon ganged down upon by both the users and mods.
