Do you struggle to meet and date women, and so instead you end up watching porn to satisfy your sexual desires?

Porn is extremely dangerous, not only to your romantic life but your entire life in general and not necessarily for the reasons you think.

People often talk about how porn desensitises you to real-life interactions, leaves you with fear of commitment and creates unrealistic expectations of relationships which are all valid, but there are two other much more powerful reasons why you shouldn’t watch porn.

Reason #1 you shouldn’t watch porn - when you watch it and masturbate in your house, it decreases your motivation to go out there and do the hard thing

The sexual urge you feel is the secret weapon you can use to motivate yourself to go out there and take action by meeting women in real life. But by watching porn, you just end up wasting it for nothing.

Many guys who are too afraid to go out there and meet women are usually the same guys who watch a lot of porn.

When you have a lot of unmet sexual needs, and you choose to not go out and meet women, you still have to take care of those needs, right?

So you watch porn and it gives you a temporary relief but then it comes back and you need to do it again. Often many times a day.

It’s literally like a drug - in the short term it gives you cheap pleasure but over a long period of time you become addicted to it without actually solving the root problem you’re facing and even worse.

You’re numbing yourself to pain but you’re not actually getting rid of it. And not only that, you’re making it even more hard to actually work getting rid of your pain.

And this leads us to reason #2 you shouldn’t watch porn - because when you do, you condition yourself to quit on yourself and your dreams, and settle with mediocrity

Do you remember those ads with belts for abs - the ones that were advertised heavily some years ago on TV? You could be fat and the only thing you needed to do was to put on the belt, and it would work it’s magic and get you abs.

So you can avoid going to the gym, spending time doing the hard exercises, eating healthy, maybe even getting personal coaching and just get the abs sitting in your home and watching TV.

The only problem was that of course - it didn’t get you the abs and you were fat.

But let’s be honest - it’s not really the abs you are seeking right? You want to have muscles all over your body. You want to be athletic overall and that good feeling that you get right after the workout. And you want to feel the sense of accomplishment that you get when you do something hard.

And even if the belt could give you abs, it could never get you those other things which are way more important.

Now with porn and dating it’s exactly the same.

You can watch porn, pay for Onlyfans membership or even visit a sex worker to literally have sex with you.

But are you really seeking an empty form of ejaculation?

Of course not, which is why you probably feel really bad after watching porn and masturbating.

What you probably want is to have a genuine connection with a girl.

You want to be confident and eliminate the anxious thoughts from your head.

You want to be able to easily make conversation with someone and have a charming attitude and aura.

And you want to be a person that can defeat your fear and take action despite it.

Do you think you’re going to get that by watching porn or swiping on apps?

No, just like with going to the gym and taking the hard route, you need to go out there and work on your social muscles and talk to women in real life.

Yes, you need to face rejection.

Yes, you need to go out after work when you’re tired.

Yes, it will probably take some time until you’re able to hold even a half decent conversation with a girl.

But this solution is the only thing that can get you the things that you truly want.

So if you’re struggling with watching porn, here’s what I want you to do.

Step one - don’t watch it today, tomorrow or any day after.

And step two - when you start getting the urge, instead of opening up your laptop, I want you to open up your wardrobe, put on some clothes and get out there in real life.

And use this urge for your benefit. If it gets even bigger, that’s a good thing. Eventually it will get so big that it’s going to be much more powerful than your approaching anxiety and you will have no other option than to talk to girls.
