I know there are a lot of guys on here who are a part of the MGTOW movement. I’ve realized after several years (3 to be exact) that I’m not one of those guys, even though I admire the efficiency and drama-free nature the MGTOW lifestyle provides.

I’m really speaking to those of you who let yourselves go during your marriage (physically, financially, emotionally), and managed to climb out of that hole to improve yourself and start living your best life again while dating quality women.

I’m my case, it’s been 3 years since my divorce. I’m in my 40s, but I’m also an introvert and work solo. The apps haven’t been great for me (ok they’ve been awful). I’m an average looking Cambodian-American, slightly but not too overweight, and relatively short. Fortunately, finances are good, no kids, no debt, sold my small business, can live anywhere.

Curious to know how those of you who’ve successfully dated again and found good long term partners have managed to meet quality women? Move overseas, join meetups, attend religious services, double-down on dating apps? Seems like dating nowadays is much tougher than 15 years, but I’m also older and less fit (former military).

Thanks for any insights.
