Do women like sober casual sex?

I'm totally down to do casual sex 100% sober without even knowing the person.

Imma say more men than women desire this.

Example: Gay male community has magnitudes more NSA (no strings attached) sex than heteros and lesbians. I’m sure straight men would like to have as much NSA sex with strangers as gay men do, but ya know, men and women are diff.

Obviously many women have hookups, ONSs, fcuk buddies, and the like. But I don’t think as many as men would if men had the options.

I have plenty of sober casual sex. I'd presume that most sex women do is sober, solely because sex is free and alcohol is not.

if you can't do casual sex without alcohol then you never wanted it at all.

Tbf, being tipsy is just a horniness trigger for some people.

Reasons listed include less drinking alcohol. My thoughts are: if you can't do casual sex without alcohol then you never wanted it at all

Guys my age are nervous as fuck about girls sometimes and it takes the edge off if they’re drinking. Like it’s 100x easier for them to loosen up to fuck if they’ve been drinking a bit

I suspect the alcohol / drugs is more to get thru the awkwardness of small talk / meeting/ flirting than the actual sex or emotions surrounding it

Not sure how typical I am but in my case I just had drunk sex because I needed the liquid confidence for the first time, otherwise I preferred sober casual sex. I didn't want to meet up with strangers on apps or go up to random guys sober asking for sex, I just wanted to occasionally sleep with guys I felt chemistry with. But to do that sober either I'd have to be very forward or the guy would have to be insanely bold. In a situation where everyone is drunk there's more of a mutual understanding that kind of thing is on the table, I guess.

I'm open to casual sex/ hooking up (never done it before). I am way less open mentally to casual sex and drinking though.

I am learning that they often go hand in hand I can see how drinking would help but that's just risky and off-putting to me so.

Al least for now I think that I would want/prefer to be 100% sober but I do realize that decreases my chance at the casual sex experience.

I don't like casual sex period, nor drunken sex in any context, and from what I have seen with my peers (mostly students) my stance isn't uncommon. My friends who do like causal sex however, usually do it in a setting with alcohol.

I used to only have causual sex when sober. Never had it while drunk/stoned/high. With my fuckbuddies (no relationship, just good sex with a tiny layer of friendship).

Women have a lot to worry about when it comes to sex in general. Aside from STDs there’s always the concern of pregnancy. Studies have also shown that people who engage in a lot of casual sex are less likely to form deep bonds with people (aka not as capable of serious relationships). Whether you’re a man or a woman, having a hooking up phase seems to make you a less desirable partner later in life
