I've only seen one instance of this happening--a woman in my social group who settled for her beta looksmatch after being pumped and dumped by many very attractive men. Every other woman I know, the men she LTR'ed were just as physically attractive as the men she had casual sex with.

Personally I think TRP way overblows how often this happens. Women are hyper aware of their S/RMV and I think most of us understand that just because a man wants to have sex with us doesn't mean he'll date us. I think the latter is especially true of my generation (younger millenials) because we were teens and young adults when OLD (particularly Tinder) blew up.

I've also noticed both from this forum and my interactions irl that straight men often have no idea what makes other men physically attractive. This makes me think many supposed instances of AF/BB are just TRPers not understanding how a woman can find her supposed "beta" SO sexually attractive.
