So by their own admittance, the reason why they needed or found TRP in the first place is due to the feminization of them by parent figures (often female) and media.

It would be only natural to find the same message distasteful.

The reason why I found the message distasteful is that the left often does things that they themselves disparage. This narrative is never aimed at other identities and when it is, it is called racism and bigotry. There is massive backlash when you tell Muslims to police other Muslims, or blacks to police other blacks. It's apparent in the leftist narrative that there are things that can be said to white men and white men only about generalizations of other white men that can't be said to other identities.

It starts with the incorrect premise that I wield some grand power that women don't. Or that I should fulfill my gender role as a "good man" and fight against the "bad men” for benefit of all women. In reality, I'm not Batman. And women aren't fragile little beings with delicate sensibilities who can't handle themselves. You can figure your own shit out.

Because there is nothing wrong with masculinity and showing it as men are failing and need to step up is condescending. It would be the same tone deafness and wrong headedness if one was to make a video showing successful black men surrounded by stereotypes and saying "Be one of the good ones." Or the putting an ad out with good women surrounded by drugged out single moms saying "Lead by example."

Mainly because it's more of the same. The Gillette ad isn't novel or new, it doesn't take a new direction on this - it's the same language from the usual suspects, which just originated from an unusual suspect.

Social justice warriors' contempt for men is matched possibly only by their certainty of how stupid men are - they think that if the same fucking message that men have already recieved from every other tolerated bullhorn in society come from a different bullhorn, that we can't parse the message and see precisely who's behind it. Men aren't objecting to the message because we have a knee-jerk response to certain words in the same context, we're objecting to it because it is nakedly self-serving (this terminology serves to advance the feminist, leftist narrative and political goals), incongruent with the lived experience of most men, likely has NO traditional male input (remember when traditional men were in Hollywood?), and, per typical feminist messaging, indicts men right at the outset.

I might've actually felt better if the ad was upfront with the misandry that bore it: "Ugh, you know how your species fucks everything up? For fucks sake could the LEAST fucked up of you fucks please keep the most fucked up of you in line? Tx, -feminism."

Because most of us who find TRP have been raised with anti-masculine messaging and weak masculine influences in our lives and had major issues in our lives as a result. Watching the continual and increasing barrage of anti-masculine narratives in society and the media is disturbing as many would concurrently claim "there is no anti-masculine narrative", including those here.

Meanwhile, the TRULY stoic men will be left standing tall like goddamn gods.

There's good reason for this: men throughout history have to go to war alongside their fellow man, or if they're rich then they at least depend on the strength of the army for their survival. Efforts to neuter the men in a society are very troublesome for men that care about maintaining their society, their family, and their life. I think the issue is that TRP knowledge is legitimately something radically (by current standards, I mean shit the sub is quarantined) different that what society is preaching, but because of it's taboo nature you can't talk about it without being instantly shamed or put in a box.

The gillette ad is just as radical as TRP, but its on the "right" side of society's standards so it gets a pass and applause.

Many RP guys understand how important TRP knowledge is for the health of men who are desperately wanting male influence, but they just keep getting the same SJW bullshit which keeps telling them they are toxic/bad/whatever. Men aren't supposed to let these things go for free, that's what beta men do. In addition to this, men aren't supposed to try and address society's shit tests, because on the end tip of this isn't a woman you're trying to seduce, but a society that you should reshape in your favour.

Same thing for TRP, men are anonymous there, why should they try and address shit tests and behave in certain ways? TRP is supposed to be here for factual discussions, their emotions aren't supposed to get in the way of sharing information.

Your view is selfish.

In one instance, the increased wussification leads to less competition for you, so you benefit at a personal level.

On the other hand, wussification also leaves the overall state of men and society weaker as a whole.

And women tend to get resentful when every man around them is a lesser-beta, and that resentment will transfer to you in the form of harsher personal shit-tests. So no, there isn't always going to be a net benefit from this.

But all that avoids the question. Why would you allow anti-masculine messaging in the first place? Don't try to jujitsu this around into some post hoc rationale that this is somehow a good thing because RP guys would benefit. You're not even RP. Why would I trust your judgement?
