I'll give a more substantial answer than the typical tropes here; as a guy in my mid-20s, age has generally been to my benefit when attracting college age women. 22-25 is the age range when I've received the most interest from women in the 18-21 age range.

Obviously men do hit a point when age starts becoming a negative rather than a positive, however experiences like this may give many older men the impression that their age is an asset, or at least not a mitigating factor in attracting younger women.

Women obtain peak fertility at college age. It is hard to find a graph that looks at women younger than ~20, but fertility tends to increase from menarche until about 20, peaks, then goes down to 0 by the late 40s.
