Like many of the women's answers, the more concerning aspect of aging is degraded health exclusive from attractiveness.

Having to step down from banging loser Stacies after I go bald will be 1/100th as big a blow as when I have a fake metal knee or lung cancer and can't go do downhill mtb rides or go paraglide off mountains or I lose my flight medical and can't be a pilot anymore.

I'm 40 and trying to not be neurotic about it and worry more about being healthy and not dying so that I'm around to see more of my kids and maybe grand kids but that seems unlikely with my eldest 9yo and people tending to push kids off into their mid-late 30s so who knows how old I'll be if/when my kids get around to spawning. We'll see. :)

Overall I think I'm pretty adaptive and glass-half-full and can roll with whatever comes at me and figure out something that works when it happens. I do notice some things starting to change performance wise, but I can't tell how much of it is in my head. Not in the difficulty-getting-erections-sense yet but more in the sometimes-it-takes-too-long-to-finish-some-ways sense. Which isn't a big deal to me. I've never tried pills (mostly I'd have no clue how to obtain and trust them) and I don't have anything against them and probably would try them for shits-and-giggles if I found some, but just haven't had a need or strong enough curiosity to seek them out. They mostly work on the erection side as far as I know and that's not where I've had problems. Yet.

The real decline is when you start taking certain medications for your heart or anti-depressants. I would take boner pills if my girlfriend wanted me to, but it's not an issue yet.

I’m about to turn 34 and I feel a very faint sense of urgency. It doesn’t really distract me because this is the first time in my life where I feel like I’m firing on all cylinders.

I’m driven, fit, educated, and ever advancing in my career. I attract way more women than I used to, even ones 10 years my junior.

I figure with good habits, nutrition, and luck I can ride this out well into my late 40s but I’d like to settle down in the next 5 years.

As far as boner pills go, the idea doesn’t bother me at all, fucking everybody is on something and the health risks behind ED pills are relatively small.

If by "sexual prowess" you mean "not being able to get hard," then I'm only slightly concerned. Concerned in the same way that I'm concerned about Alzheimer's or death. Its something not likely to happen until my 60's-70's and by then (hopefully) I've already lived a good sex-filled life. And who knows, I have enough faith in technological/medical advancements there might be a cure by then.

If by "sexual prowess" you mean "getting women to have sex with me," then not really. Worst comes to worst I retire as a sexpat. If nothing, I've learned that men are paying for it one way or another. Its not ideal, but life rarely is. As an added bonus by that age, when death is just around the corner, I'm no longer worry able catching any diseases. What I am concern about though is that my career stagnates and I cant afford to even do that in my old age. But that's more a concern about the economy and my investments than it is of my sexual prowess.

Not really. Im only 32 currently. My hair is super thick and Im not losing any of it. I take good care of my skin, stay out of the sun, and use some expensive moisturizer bs. I eat well, I exercise, I take vitatmins, etc, etc. I have essentially zero wrinkles or sagging skin right now... People generally put me around 25-26yo.

I have taken viagra or some other type of med in the past... but only when I was... umm... partying. And it was sort of needed to rise to the occasion. I wouldn't really care one way or another if I had to take it 10 yrs from now, but ultimately when my free test really starts dropping, Ill just supplement it.

Honestly, if you take care of yourself, which includes not getting injured/breaking shit, staying attractive as a guy as you age isn't difficult. Im may be one of the outliers in this sub as I had plenty success with women in my late teens/early 20s... but I haven't seen any changes as Ive aged. In fact, things have gotten easier... but I think a lot of that is cultural.

I just have to work out and eat healthy alot and avoid much contact with the sun (sunlight is a doozy on facial aging), I am naturally youthful in looks so I have that plus as well. Plenty of Aging is just the result of not keeping up on your body properly long-term. I'm trying to stay sexy forever, going for being a greyfox.

From what I have heard most of the loss of libido in men and need for Viagra is simply the women stop being attractive to the men. When I get married someday I want an agreement we both police each-other on maintaining our bodies.

Not really. I was worried a bit about being too old for more kids, since I wanted that. But I just had another one, two months ago - who cares if you are old anymore. I feel like also those societal hick-ups people had with having a much younger wife, being an older dad, divorce, etc. - they don't really exist anymore. Or perhaps I just don't give a damn. I plan on having a few more kids. I know I should worry more about health. But haven't been to a doctor in more than a decade, haven't even got a health insurance (and I live part time in third world shitholes). No. Can buy it over the counter here, so it wouldn't be a problem and I would if I ever experienced any issues, but have sex like 1-2 times / day. I plan on going on some kind of steroids some time, when I find my testosterone may be declining. But haven't felt anything yet. I know I have pretty good aging-genes (and I do find a certain schadenfreudea in seeing some other people age really horrible on Facebook), but I also work out 3-5 times a week, eat healthy, don't smoke, almost never drink, etc. Also hair (& nails) grows like a motherfucker. Have to go to the hairdresser every other month.

If I ever came to a point where I needed a girlfriend, and I couldn't find a young attractive one, I'd just buy a prostitute to be my gf. Same Same But Different. Probably would buy two.

You know what bums me out about ageing. I know I just missed the boat on eternal life. Some time this century, they'll have figured out how to reverse ageing. But I'll most likely be dead by then.

I've used it a few times to either break through the refractory period, make me last ages, or to ensure performance even when on opiates (you try getting it up after downing half a bottle of Oramorph!) and it does its job. Anyone who says it's just placebo unless you have actual ED is a liar. A drug that pumps blood to your dick is gonna give you stronger erections, that's just science.

What it doesn't do is increase your libido. This is a common misconception. It will make you perform better physically but if you're not in the mood Viagra is not an aphrodisiac.

No real risk of dependency in a physical sense, it's more of a psychological thing like you think you need it to perform. So I don't use it often and don't have that problem.

Generic vs. brand name doesn't make a difference if the pills aren't counterfeit. Unfortunately a lot of those dodgy Indian imports are fake which is why I pay extra to buy the real Pfizer stuff from the pharmacy. When you're fucking with your dick you don't wanna be taking risks!

No, not at all. I've already proclaimed that there are only three 3 main things a guy has to do to stay physically attractive into his 40s and 50s.

Stay slim with at least a little muscle. Not slim for an old guy, just slim period. You have to start early and never fluctuate much because if you gain that old man weight its going to be hard to lose.
Keep your hair and a good hairline. This seriously keeps men looking refreshed and much younger than their peers. If you start balding get on fin/min/or a transplant if you already waited too long.
Dress well. Slim fitting clothes that show off that slim physique but are still appropriate for your age (No ripped jeans and shit like that). You should be doing this already while youre young. Never start dressing like an old man. Honestly I don't even know how that shit happens. (probably marriage and kids so you just don't give a fuck anymore).

Also a nice dense stubble or short beard looks great on older guys if you have the genetics.

My SMV has gone down, my RMV has gone up. Its a mixed blessing.

I do miss the benefits of being high SMV though. But at the same time it doesn't matter 'that' much because most women who are good RMV at my age are already married. Being high SMV past 40 as a man is in a way like having a handful of cash in a 1970s USSR grocery store. Sure you have money, but there isn't anything worth buying. If I had higher SMV I'd be more attractive, but I'd be more attractive in a market full of (age appropriate) abusive women, self centered single mothers and unstable women. On the other hand, a higher SMV would make me more attractive to the minority of age appropriate women who are high RMV.

Not having your life ruled by your sex drive is awesome. My sex drive still exists, but it doesn't control me like it did when I was younger. I love having control again.
