Women who are concerned about their personal safety should sign up for MMA classes.

When I was a young child, I was constantly assaulted. I would cry, plead, complain, and rage to my parents and to the school staff.

As I grew older, I learned that my safety was my personal responsibility.

I signed up for an MMA gym years ago- and now I run my own class within the gym.

On the one occasion where my personal safety was threatened after my extensive training, I handled it aggressively and decisively. Strangely, no punches needed to be thrown- it was clear to my opponent that he was out-matched. He relented because he no longer perceived a soft target and moved on.

According to women, they're very concerned about their personal safety.

Yet a vast majority do absolutely nothing to change their helplessness. They whine, moan, and complain for other people to change their behavior towards them.

You cannot control the actions of another individual, and from what I remember women's empowerment is all about giving "everyone" agency and autonomy.

I watch a young girl at our school, no older than 16. Small thing, very pretty.

She fucking smacks those bags. She makes other men rub their shins in pain after she lands a kick. I don't see her wasting valuable time posting selfies. She's putting in work. I wouldn't fuck with her.

To be a man means that if you want to achieve anything you have to put in the blood, sweat and tears. Women want equality yet will apply minimal effort to accomplish these goals when compared to men.

A vast majority of women are engaging in ineffectual methods to make themselves less of a soft target and yet they're the first to complain about safety.

Edit: mother nature only supplies that which is in demand. If mother nature is not given an incentive to provide women with strength, because women continue to defer protection to males, then she will not bring women up to men's level. Nothing will change on the biological level.

There is no reason why people today, both men and women, shouldn't have at least a rudimentary understanding of self defense. All the resources are out there.
