I think there are some things that are too ingrained for women to even contemplate they would be the other way round, even if otherwise steadfastly egalitarian.

I bet the blue-haired feminists still ask their guy to go investigate the "bump in the night".

However, on the occasions I stay at my boyfriends' homes, I'm the one who gets up to check on strange noises, rare as they are. My thinking is that I'm lighter than them so the floorboards creak much less, I've a thinner body which is easier to hide, I'm faster and more flexible than either of them, and also a very light sleeper so out of place noises will wake me up before one of them anyway. Thus, it just makes sense for me to get up and check instead of waking them up to do it because I can assess the situation with less threat of being heard or seen if there is an intruder.

Women, are there any masculine roles that you take on in your relationships? Are you "chivalrous" towards your man in some cases because it's just more logical to do it yourself than ask him to? Please also state what Pill you are if it's not evident in your flair.
