Depends on the source of the number as well. I'd prefer zero, but would have no qualms accepting 1 committed boyfriend every 3 years. So 2-3 if dating someone also my age of 23, 1 if i was dating an 18 yr old and 4 if I were dating a 27 year old.

I would take the median value and expect any N in the 80% range. If her N falls out of the 80% range, something's off and I'd take a closer look

Since I don't think I'll go too young or too old, within the one digit-range should be okay. Though circumstances matter. A colleague of mine talked about her little sister last time, and mentioned she has had sex with 4 (!) of her colleagues. Why? Well, apparently she wanted a relationship out of it and didn't really get it.

So that girl - even if she coincidentally had been in one single relationship during her teens and early 20s, and thus only get to the moderate N of 5 by the time she hit her mid 20s - would be undatable due to this decision.

I'd have to know the context, and whether the n was due to relationships, FWBs or casual sex. A higher n-count through relationships is better to me than a lower n-count from casual sex. Also, I'd want to know why her relationships didn't work out.

It's not literally a number that turns me off. High n count is a symptom of poor decisions and characteristics for long term relationships.

That being said, it IS possible (though not probable) that a woman can have an n count of up to 5 and not be a slut. Circumstances of the +1 matters. Although I'm still extremely skeptical about it.

Well statistically speaking 21 is FUBAR (Fucked Up Beyond All Repair)! Though as someone aptly said alreadt the n count will only provide a correlation between it and values. You still have to take each person case by case if you want to find out their values. The only time you really have an excuse to use the n count is if you have to sort through a large amount of girls in a short space of time, using the n count will improve your results over random selection. Though this is a hypothetical situation that really won't occur for most people, if not anyone at all.

fuckbuddies, plates, friends with benefits, etc: doesn't matter, it's a casual sex-based relationship that's never going to go anywhere serious anyway so she can be a total slut. probably better that she have a ridiculously high number so i won't accidentally catch feelings.

Depending on her age, less than 20. The younger she is, the lower the number. If I meet a 19 year old with an n count of 30, I doubt she is very loyal. I have met 19 year old moms at a club or through friends before. It's annoying but in my country, it is not unreasonable for a man to want to know if an 18 year old is a mom.

At 30, if she fucked 10 guys, that is not too high.

This happens to me all of the time. I am Mexican and k live in an area that mostly Hispanic. I work in customer service so I do have to speak to people who only speak Spanish all of the time. People always mistake me for being Caucasian.
