assuming that run of the mill also includes minimal hang-ups about his height (basically, the shoes are all the thought he puts to it)... then probably. an actor i have a crush on is 5'4" and i think he just wears normal shoes. i don't find him unattractive for being short, it actually makes him cuter.

a scenario where he wears lifts but has no hangups about his height seems incredibly unlikely though. even if he acts cool for a while... personal problems like that only stay hidden for so long. it may not be severe... but it's definitely there.

edit: i didn't think about the lifts being 4" before... but other people are pointing out how ridiculous that is and i have to agree. changing my answer to a nope. platforms would be preferable at that point, if some sort of height addition was necessary at all.

Lifts are a bit insecure - like women padding their bras (there are so many bras now that offer the appearance of 2 extra cup sizes) I can understand the man being a little disappointed when the bra came off....and I could understand the woman being a little disappointed when the shoes came off. Whether it's a deal breaker or not depends on how important those attributes are to an individual.

I'd date him of he was attractive to me other wise, but I'd probably feel a little sad for him at being so self conscious about his height.

Don't listen to the women here. You have a better chance wearing the 4 (or 6) inch lifts (inside your shoes) as a 5'8-5'10 man who woes a woman and has a chance to have her look past your 5'4 after you bang her than you do at 5'4 "being yourself" where you will be pretty much invisible.

These same women tack on everything from fake eyelashes to push ups to increase in their SMV and nobody says anything to them. Now women date men primarily for their looks but claim they don't like men who try and even the playing field with them.

Every single woman in the world prefers taller to shorter (even if they're both taller than she is), so live don't fall for their lies.

I'm only 5'2 myself - if I were single, I wouldn't mind dating a 5'4 guy, I've seen lots of short men who I have found attractive. I'm not sure how I feel about the lifts, if he wants to wear them by all means but I'll keep being shorter than him either way (I don't even own heels - stupid baby feet don't fit into western sizes

Edit: The only problem I see is that he is supposedly completely average - I still need him to be special to me in some way but his hight certainlt wouldn't disqualify him from showing whatever other things he has going for him and what we might have in common.

I am 5'9" and maybe "lookism" and "thin privilege" are part of it because, I'm a medium guy and no clue about this height thing.

I'm in a poly bi relationship with a 5'1 and 5'3" women and my boyfriend is 6'5". When I was younger, I was messing with these two brothers.
