The reason TRP has an "obsession" with lifting (it isn't an obsession; it's simply a core part of TRP) is

--because most of the men coming to TRP need some kind of physical activity

--most of the men coming to TRP aren't accustomed to a lot of physical activity

--most men coming to TRP look and feel like shit. Lifting helps with that

--lifting promotes testosterone generation

--lifting/exercise helps with the depression and bad feelings

-you don't need any kind of physical conditioning before you start lifting

--the human male body is made for lifting and moving heavy weights

--most men can improve their bodies by lifting.

Are they all going to become Arnolds? No. They can gain muscle and lose fat, and that's a plus no matter how you slice it. Are they all going to become Chads? No. They will gain confidence and they will look better, and that will help get them at least one woman, which is what they want anyway.

I am aware of this and I can see that argument to some extent. I still maintain it is an obsession when you consider what most people look like. Perhaps the picture is slightly different in the States, although I doubt it, but very rarely do I encounter anyone who remotely looks like they seriously hit the weights. They all manage to get partners, so I can't really see why it's some massively important requirement of life.

Furthermore, I'm unconvinced that it will make you more sexually attractive. In terms of encouraging exercise that is good, but I honestly think playing sport will confer most of the benefits of lifting, while also being more enjoyable. The only exception is that lifting can enable some guys to develop a particularly impressive physique, but I would contest that most guys never achieve this.

I would also question your assertion that "the human male body is made for lifting and moving heavy weights".

But why? Women don't have to agree 100% with the political views of their SOs. I am dating a neoliberal and I hate neoliberalism. My mother is a neoliberal and my father is a communist and they have been married for more than 20 years.

Because you're supposed to be assessing Great Hubby candidates across a range of things. A whole cornucopia of traits and behaviours and attributes, and finding someone who is a good mix of all of them.

Nazi's as a group exhibit a whole range of traits, behaviours and attributes that should signal bad things in a hubby candidate. So much so that when balancing against anything positive they have you have a massive starting negative to overcome.

So much so, that any candidate who is like them but not a nazi should be leagues ahead of our family-orientated nazi.

The only people for whom that large starting negative would NOT apply....Is Nazi women.

American alt-righters are cringy and most of them seem like losers. However, in Greece, Golden Dawn members can be quite popular.

And thus is exposed the great danger with nazi's. When there are a lot of them, they don't seem like losers. And then they take over. And bad things occur.

Kasidiaris has even dated models in the past. Also, far-righters are more likely to be pro-marriage and pro-kids and they're significantly more "traditional".

So what ? A modest net positive in the "wants kids" column. A massive net negative in the "Isn't a Crazy Asshole" and "Is kind and caring at heart" and "adopts stray puppies" and "money" and "status" and "Intelligence (for the most part)" columns.

Overall, I wouldn't see them as a target rich environment for great hubbies unless you are a woman who is already a nazi herself.

You didn't really explain what is it about nazis that make them bad hubbies. Wanting to gas Jews is a strawman and kind of vague too. Even if they wanted to gas Jews, it doesn't mean they can't be good husbands.

Nazis can be animal lovers actually. Heck, a lot of the original Nazis were animal lovers and environmentalists.

Don't get me wrong. Men being employed is important for all manner of things. Male self esteem, male self sufficiency, even getting married. But getting and being married for women has much less to do with the man's sexual attractiveness and much more to do with the extent to which the woman thinks the man will be of use to her and will serve her agenda and give her what she wants.

I didn't say unemployed men not getting dates will lead to sex, or that unemployed men do or don't get sex. What I said was that the simple fact of having a job doesn't make a woman sexually attracted to him. His having a job means he meets the bare minimum adulting standards, and some woman somewhere might find him useful. It means in that aspect of his life, he can adult. It doesn't mean he's sexually attractive. It doesn't even mean he's "attractive for a relationship" (whatever that means today). It just means he's a minimally functional grownup.
