my H and i each have one tattoo. i had always been planning to get more when i was young but im very glad i didnt. all my heavily tattooed female friends are my age now and they look ridiculous

I'm not a fan of full sleeves, but half sleeve or smaller is appealing to me. I care more about the tattoo itself: is it well done, is it tasteful, thought out, interesting. It's not really a dealbreaker or maker - it's just something some people have.

I don't associate tattoos with certain traits. My friends, siblings, father, great aunt, etc all have tattoos, and they're all pretty different.

But for the most part I do like girls with a lot of tattoos. I may be a little biased because I have a lot of big tattoos as well.

I love tattoos! I think they can be beautiful and interesting. They are often a good way to understand a person better as well. They can show you a glimpse in to their inner workings that you wouldn't normally see. Doesn't matter the sex of the person. I don't know why I love it. I tend to relate tattoos to nice punks/metal guys and girls but I know that isn't every case. Tons of different people have tattoos. So in a way I guess I also relate visible tattoos to a person who is unafraid to be themselves.

To me its somewhat of a rebellion thing, like people with tattoos are more independent than those who don't. More likely to pursue their interests rather than sink into a day to day lifestyle based around fear. I would love to see a study about if people with tattoos are more spontaneous(and impulsive) than those without, because it makes sense to me that this would be true

I have colorful Japanese Irezumi tattoos, full back and half sleeves. The reaction from women has always been positive. They have meaning and show my commitment to the art/process. I can tell a person the meaning/story behind my tattoos and they will be interested. I don't show them in my business life since they are very personal to me. I love women with tattoos as long as they are high quality and mean something. The worst is the tribal tramp stamp or some other really stupid tattoo that is poorly done.

Only black ink and only if they look pristine (dark and sharp). Depends on the sort of tattoo also, I'd hate something like a face or a naked lady. If not, they're alright, but I'd rather have a man without ink.

I like tattoos, idk about "big colorful" ones, specifically. I like original tattoos over generic ones, original places for tattoos over generic ones, and word tattoos better than picture tattoos.

I don't know that I necessarily prefer them or not prefer them on anyone, but they are intriguing to me.

As to associating certain traits, it honestly would depend on the tattoo, but I would generally associate them with creative and/or visual people.

I am tattooed but do not care for large ones or colored ones. I have two, that have no color and aren't super big, and are covered up 95% of the time. If I like them depends entirely on what the tattoo is and the overall appearance of the person. If you already come off as a tacky/trashy person, tattoos won't help you. If you're smart, dress well and are well spoken, a tattoo that is tasteful and well done, and in a place that can be easily covered won't hurt you. People of all backgrounds get tattoos, both male and female, so I wouldn't say I associate any traits with them

Yes. I'd like to get some more colourful tattoos myself. I'm actually looking to get the tattoo of the Pokemon Phione on me with the caption "Forever Young" in Japanese. Basically being 30 kinda got to me a bit as I feel I wasted my 20s and sometimes in the way I act, I do want to continue to feel young.

I have big colourful tattoos myself so part of me is drawn to girls with them. I think girls look better without them, and I'm not particularly happy that my girlfriend is planning to get one (don't really give a shit though), but there's something about tattoos that are kind of exciting. Don't get me wrong, most suck, and most are obviously attached to people who suck, but if there's a cute girl with big colourful tattoos I can fantasize about finding my soulmate or whatever. It's highly dependent on the person who has the tattoo, because that determines whether the tattoos are lame or not.

That only applies to cute/pretty/interesting-looking girls with fun tattoos. All the other girls I almost immediately see as good fuck-material and that's it.

I have a full sleeve on my arm and leg. I am probably an outlier due to my affiliation with punk/hardcore/metal, but I fine quality tattoos (rare) quite attractive on girls as long as they are not on face or hands or vagina (I actually hooked up with a girl with one of these once, LOL)

After a decade in the military I get signs of disbelief when I say that I have no tats. It goes right back to grade school when I only wrote in pencil and never in pen.

Actually, I love tats on girls. . .that is, I love tats on someone other than ME.

TRP has a hate on for tats but I don't have a problem if they are not ill-conceived.

I had a weird conversation with a girl and we talked about commitment. I wanted her to have克拉克的 tattooed on her ass and left breast. She seemed to be ok with it. Watch this space!

I'm just not into any sort of body modification or enhancement. I don't have tats or any piercings myself (no, not even ears) and can't think of a good reason to, personally. My lover also doesn't, which I like because he shares this view with me. But other people can do what they want, I don't judge.

Nope. All kinds of people can have tats. My paternal grandparents got tattoos of each other's name over their hearts for their 40th anniversary, one of my sisters has some very beautiful tats on her back, and one of my friends got his wife name on his arm. Other people I know have superhero ones, or videogame ones.

Some look good, some don't. I don't find them attractive, more just interesting as art. I don't think I'd ever get one myself because I tend to always be finding a new best thing ever in art so a tattoo would quickly become outdated to my sensibilities. Most of the guys who are hardcore opposed to them on women tend to be assholes though, if I was young, virginal and in those guys' target demographic again again I might for a bit consider getting a bit of ink just to discourage those men but end up cutting my hair short and getting four piercings in each ear instead, because that signals "yeah fuck off and die MRAs, TRPers, conservatives and general sexists, your sperm has negative value" just as well.
