I'll be voting for Clinton. Largely because she's the one who I believe is best suited for the office. The third party candidates don't match me and Trump is incredibly short on qualifications in addition to being generally repugnant in attitude and how much he buys into various conspiracy theories.

He has no policy experience, no appropriate diplomatic experience, no discipline, seems to have no desire to properly prepare to present his best to the American people which is deeply disrespectful tithe electorate.

That's not even touching on the allegations against him. Even if every accusation were wrong, I'd still think he has no business in the White House.

It has nothing to do with 'pills' and everything to do with the fact, in my eyes, he would be a terrible president, even at the base level of getting things done.

Trump is a "celebrity" and Clinton was secretary of state AND a senator. I'm going with the one with actual government/politics experience. Clinton has been in politics literally her whole life! She's going to know what the fuck she's doing. Whereas Trump is running for president just to see if he can. It's just a show in his eyes. And he's already made millions on his campaign, so for him it's a win-win either way!

I voted for Hilary. She is the most progressive candidate on the ballot who isn't a retard. Obviously as a leftist, I am not going to vote for Trump, Castle, Mc Mullen or Johnson (although I do respect Mc Mullen for what he is doing). And any other smaller parties are a joke (if there was a serious Socialist cannidate I would have voted for them).

It really came down to Hilary vs Stein for me, and Stein turns to shit really quick when you look into her. Stein believes that wifi hurts children's brains, thinks parents should choose if their child gets a vaccination, defends homeopathy, and defends 9/11 truthers.

Hilary at least isn't a retard and is mildly progressive, so I voted for her.

I did vote the Green Party however in some local elections, in particular I voted for a the green candidate for Auditor General and Treasurer, I actually liked them more then the Democratic candidate when I looked them up. Outside of that however I filled out the ballot with all Democrat.

Canadian, so not voting, but I would vote for Jill Stein. Honestly, it's lose-lose as far as I can see. Leaning towards hoping for a Clinton presidency, but I suspect that the short term horror of a Trump presidency would be better in the long run for democracy. Provided he doesn't start a nuclear war, which is a not insignificant risk. But on the bright side, both those jokers make Harper look a lot better by comparison.

I voted yes on Propositions 205 (legalize weed) and 206 (raise the minimum wage in AZ).

The local school board elections were another nasty affair. Lots of squabbling and mud-slinging. They can get even uglier than the presidential elections.

Well, I'm glad it's finally over. People have been talking about this election for two solid years since the 2014 midterm elections, so now everyone can quiet down for a few days as we start to look forward to the 2018 midterm elections and the 2020 presidential election.

As for Trump vs. Hillary, just as with most elections, it's a matter of choosing between the lesser of two evils. It's also a matter of looking at the vice-presidential candidates, since (no matter who wins) we can expect impeachment proceedings to start the day after Inauguration Day. Whoever wins will have an embattled presidency.

The funny thing about all of this is that - if either party had nominated someone else, they'd be a shoo-in. If there was another Republican running against Hillary, that Republican would win easily. If there was another Democrat running against Trump, that Democrat would win easily. But here, it's a relatively close race, which will be decided more by the haters than anyone else.
