Men don't 'settle' for virgins. Most men, if they're inclined to marry, would love a beautiful young virgin. He wouldn't be settling for her, giving his best to other women in his prime and then giving her a pale shade of his former self. It's a very different concept to a woman chasing alphas in her prime then having to settle for a beta when her looks start to fade.

Most men I know were more relationship minded in their twenties. They might fuck a few sluts in their teens and use them for sexual release between girlfriends, but most wanted to find an attractive girl for a monogamous relationship. Quite a few guys I know bought a house with their girlfriend but ended up splitting up. That serves as a wake up call to them, after which they're usually a lot more cautious about getting into serious relationships, since there are severe consequences should they go wrong.

Also, most men I know never had some kind of plan to fuck sluts while young then settle down at 30. The reality is that most men exist in scarcity mentality and realise that they have to take what's on offer, and if a great girl comes along they have to be ready to commit to her since the likelihood of him finding someone better, or equally as good at a later date is pretty low. It's only really women who can plan at what age they want to settle down at, since they know they'll have plenty of options. Non-famous men never experience this kind of abundance that young women do and there's certainly not an abundance of young virgins waiting to be wifed up.

I think a better analogy would be TRPers sleeping with sluts then settling down with a woman they are NOT physically attracted to because that woman is relatively chaste and will make a good long term partner for emotional support, child birth, can cook well and other things in that vein.

What AFBB essentially is; is settling for someone tolerable because they realize that that the window for them to lock down a (often spoken of when talking about BB) financial support system to allow them to live a comfortable lifestyle, that they otherwise would not be willing to work for.

If a RPer goes after a virgin(and I think the want for this for ANY man is very slim) after slutting around, it is because they are the total package, in ones mind.

I'm being facetious, but that's pretty much what people say in response to this question.

People just don't like that they're not getting laid, so they lash out at the easiest targets -- sluts (society doesn't like them, they're women who should be putting out for these men and not the chads) etc etc. It gives a man a false sense of power for a second or two. He might not be getting laid, but that chick is a slut and hated by all so he's superior. Easy self-esteem boost, basically.

I think there is a degree of mirroring between the two, but I think the evolutionary basis is different.

AF\BB is about excitement&genes\parental investment&stability Slut\Housewife is about excitement&reproductive opportunity\paternal certainty&long term sexual supply.

But having been a long-time incel, I will comment specifically on why I think incels in particular idealize virgins.

It's because they're virgins too, to put it simply.

When you've never had sex, it really seems only fair that you should get a partner who hasn't either. (I know that this is ignoring the differences between men and women, but keep in mind I was not RP through most of my inceldom, and most incels aren't RP either. So, the fact that women are the sexual selectors is somewhat lost on most of them.)

You may find their preference for virgins to be more agreeable if I put it this way: They've never had sex. They have no idea how to do it other than what they've seen in porn. Having a partner who has way more experience than you is overwhelming and can be humiliating. Of course they would rather their first time is with another virgin.
