I know this sub hates BDSM so I didn't want to make a post that sounds too repetitive and just echoes what everyone else says, but since I'm 18 I feel like the input would be maybe a little interesting, considering how much young girls get pressured into the BDSM bullcrap.

Libfems looove to act like BDSM is a "choice" and that women should have the fReEdOm to CHOOSE how they want to have sex. Well duh, yeah, unless you're in a situation of sexual abuse it's up to you to consider what you wanna do in bedroom. What they fail to consider, however, is how everything around us shape the choices we make and therefore it's important to criticize that as well.

The choices most women make and that libfems call "empowering" are ALWAYS things that are already expected of us anyway. It's always wearing makeup. Shaving. Being feminine. Like... wow. Groundbreaking. Sorry to burst your bubble but you're not doing anything to help women as a class when you cave in to patriarchal expectations so you feel better about yourself. And I will NEVER make a woman feel bad about doing that because I know how society can be tough and cruel to those of us who actually actively choose to go against the grain, but the moment you start feeling like you are being soooo ~ feminist ~ by doing those things, to me it is time to take a step back and learn what feminism means. Sometimes it comes purely from naive ignorance, which is like, whatever. But sometimes it comes from dishonesty and that's infuriating because libfems purposely set women back in order to bend backwards to appeal to men & still feel like they're doing something.

And this is where BDSM comes into play. It's a hateful act. It's misogynistic. It's not enjoyable in the least. I'm not gonna police what you do in the bedroom, but for women to come out and act like it's ~ empowering ~ is so blatantly dumb that it makes it hard to even argue against. If a man handcuffed you and choked you and slapped you on any occasion he would be arrested. You take your clothes off and add in penetration and suddenly it's acceptable? It's not freeing. It's not freeing. It's an act of violence disguised as something sexy because your lame boyfriend thinks it's sexy to beat up women. That's what it is. Trust me when I say this: your boyfriend does not give a FUCK about feminism when he's beating the shit out of you and calling you a whore. He doesn't give a fuck about what you feel. He doesn't give a fuck about your rights and freedom and empowerment. His goal is to degrade you as much as he can to get off.

Now ask yourself why. Why is it that he feels like he needs to treat women like lesser beings in order to be turned on? It's sick. And it's the perfect emulation of what has been happening in society since the dawn of time. Men - in general - have ALWAYS learned to enjoy treating women like shit. There's nothing new. You're just taking something straight out of the 15th century and into your bedroom while out of it you claim to be a feminist because society changes and evolves... and it does because people question things, their rights, their treatment. If you don't do the same you'll be stuck in a lifetime of not doing anything at all while reaping the benefits of what women who actually CARE fought for. You. are. useless. You're fighting against yourself to stand for the right of a man to abuse you. You're dumb. (a little edit: not every woman needs to do something, not every woman needs to go out protesting bc not everyone has the right headspace for it and it's very hard and exhausting. but if you call yourself a fighter for women's rights while you only do what men want you to, you are not doing anything. you're not helping.)

Girls, think about this. Plus your Dominant boyfriend is not some hot, tall, wealthy and strong and alpha male is he? Soooooo. Stop catering to your misogynistic sleazy BF's wishes because he wants to feel better about himself. He probs couldn't dominate a fish if he had fish food on his hands.

Edit: women who read this and your take is "but... 100 words explaining bdsm" trust me, I don't care. I read the same thing you wrote a thousand times. Go somewhere else.
