It's 2021 women don't need to settle for the bare minimum anymore. I don't give a flying fuck what a scrote bitch says, lol. Women set our standards for a reason, so we don't deal/or attempt to avoid lvm. If some dude got a problem with it, then move along cause evidently, they could not reach them. I'm so tired of women being made to feel bad over setting standards for relationships/potential mates.

They do it so they won’t have to try. And if they are semi decent they can be seen as gods. Also, they know they are mediocre and lying still won’t get us to stay with them.

They played themselves because most women excluding pickmes would stay single before hoisting themselves with a LVM. Btw in my opinion most men are NVM.

She really epitomizes so much crap that women (and especially women of color) go through. There is absolutely nothing she can do that won’t make sexist and racist people hate her, next to dropping dead. Though even then the British press would probably complain that she did that wrong.

Edit to add, I don’t remember anyone saying things like that about Kate, even though William strung her along for years and he does not seem like a very fun, witty or interesting person.

There’s a scene in an old Marilyn Monroe movie where she puts it perfectly when her soon-to-be father-in-law tries to accuse her of being a gold digger (his son was pretty ugly in comparison to her). She was like(paraphrased), “if I was your daughter wouldn’t you want me to only marry the best suitor and live a good life with nice things? So why is it different for me?” It stumped him silent. That’s the rub—when you frame it as what would they do if it was them or what would they want for their own daughters, suddenly they understand being pragmatic and going for the best 🙄. It’s all just a pathetic attempt at getting other men’s daughters to lower their standards for them and their penises, while hoping those women are too stupid to see the double standard of how they’d never settle like that or want their kindred to.

Theres a mentality people forced on young girls that in order to be deserving of true love, you gotta love others for who they are inside, not their jobs or money or how they act outside. This! Soo sooo trueee. I've wondered why this is too! In my country, for instance, men are ALWAYS, ALL THE FRIGGIN TIME, complaining about women being materialistic and gold diggers. I've noticed that men who say this , besides being broke and unabitious, have absolutely NOTHING to offer to women. And they don't even possess the qualities they claim & profess to have.

People don't generally date down. Maybe a man will take a girlfriend/wife from a 'lower' background because men prize beauty more than wealth (at least they used to) but generally not.

And one thing i wonder is... if they could have chosen to be born to a rich father or a poor father, which one would they choose? Obviously the richer one. That is why i want a wealthy man, since my children will have a better life at least finance wise. The same thing with height and looks. I want the best life for my children.

I've always thought Meghan inauthentic, and not always smart in the way she lies... BUT from a purely FDS point of view, I think she settled: she had over a million of followers on insta, was already friend with Serena before meeting Harry, and she was so pretty and bubbly...she could have dated Harry to enjoy the fame and the exposure and then part ways. Marrying him was not a very strategic decision.
