80/20 is indeed completely logical. What is ALSO completely logical is that, since 80/20 is logical:

You must be ready to share your boyfriend/husband with several other women(in other words be part of a harem) since there are only so many Chads to go around; or
If you are NOT ready to share, you have to be ready to be a single mother all your life, after some random Chad impregnates you.

Remember, women aren't limited to in-shape college girls. They include all ages, ethnicities and walks of life.

But even if we're only talking about young ones, being in good physical shape, having a pretty face and being well dressed is common, but not incredibly common. We just tend to notice them the most, while others fade into the background.

It's true that women as a whole put more care into their appearance than the average man, but that will just heighten the shock when you see her in the morning without makeup for the first time. :P

You are right and also wrong.

I believe that women think they want a hot guy, but they don't realize that he comes with a lot of competition from other women. They don't realize that the hot guy is not going to treat you as well because he has options and knows it and can leave at any time. Where as a normal guy would view himself as lucky to be with a woman and wants to impress her.

Women think they want a hot guy, but what they actually want is a useful guy. Don't believe me? Go to r/relationships and see how many posts are from women who are fed up with guys who don't do chores. (which guy do you think she is with? hot/not?) Go ahead and look longer for women who are with guys who earn less or won't get a job. She hates pulling the weight, which guy do you think is more likely to feel like he can get away with using a woman for her money? Which guy is going to work harder for his woman, the guy who can leave at any time for another woman or the guy who has less options?

Yes, of course, women want a hot guy, it makes them feel great to be with him but usually it doesn't work out long term.

I have a different perspective. I’m also attracted to very, very few men. I almost never see a man who catches my eye during my daily commute. The vast majority are just not beautiful or interesting to look at. And even if a man is beautiful, very rarely do I feel sexually inclined towards a random beautiful man. I might think “wow, he’s pretty”, but very seldom am I drawn to him sexually.

However.

Despite feeling neutral towards 99% of men physically, if I’m talking with someone over a period of time and they happen to be funny or interesting, sexual attraction grows. The men I’ve dated have ranged from objectively extremely attractive (as in, made money off their looks) to conventionally unattractive. Wherever they started, my sexual attraction always builds to “extremely attracted”.

That being said, I have some “hard no’s”. A guy would have to be absolutely hysterical, profoundly interesting, and rare for me to want to begin a relationship if he’s dramatically older than me, smaller than I am (I can do shorter but it’s hard for me to do shorter AND skinnier as I’m already a smaller woman myself), along with a few other traits that are instant turn-offs.

If there’s no symmetry or jawline or nice straight nose or kissable lips or gorgeous smile, who even wants to look at it much less kiss it? For what reason? And most of their skin is just not good because they’re not inclined to care for it. Don’t get me started on the average man’s hair. Or lack thereof.

If we are talking about logical sense or common sense here, the premise of your post is actually quite opposite of what women truly want.

If you ask women what they truly want from their partners? they will list a laundry list of blue pill beta characteristics. But look at their personal life, and they have a laundry list of red flags chasing chads and failing at securing them for any significant periods of time.

Men are forced to confront the bottom line about their life from their early years, and its time women do the same.

If you are a woman worth with SMV 5/10 or 6/10 or 7/10, its actually quite delusional if you actually thought have a chance with the 8/10 or 9/10 or 10/10 men. I mean, sure some of these women get quite lucky.. you know, like winning a lottery ticket or something, but will ALL of these 5,6,7/10 women will get what they want? no.
