Literally Arthur’s dad from the kid‘a cartoon, Arthur. The dad and the mom works as a team and he supports his wife’s career. He is seen cooking and cleaning around the house and is very involved with the kids and school. He gets annoyed but is never seen angry and screaming or violent. He is goofy and wholesome and In my opinion, the perfect HVM dad

This is sadly really really hard.. no wonder men behave so badly when most media representation of men make manipulative or LVM behaviour aspirational.
I have an ex who looked up to Sterling Archer, yes I should've noticed that big red flag!

All I can think of is Atticus Finch and possibly Peter in Three Men and a Baby/Lady!

I don't know much about Liam Hemsworth, but from what I've seen he seems like a pretty HVM to me. I actually looked up to his and Miley's relationship, until she started acting weird in the media again and their relationship ended. Of course I have no sorts of private information or anything but to me it seems like after her whole rebellious-twerking phase, she became more of a hvw and that's when they got together, but near the end of their relationship she started acting like a lvw again and that's when he ended it. He seems like hvw who wants a classy hvw by his side

Steve Rogers aka Captain America! 😍 Also Clint Barton (Hawkeye) from the MCU. I’m willing to bet that Agent Phil Coulson is a HVM but we don’t know much about him from the movies and I fell off watching Agents of Shield.

It’s funny you mention manic pixie dream boys. I saw a tumblr screen shot saying that MPDBs are found in hallmark movies (it’s true). I agree with your assessment of Ben Wyatt and Criss (with two S’s).

Honestly, Steve Harrington and Sheriff Hopper from Stranger Things are good role models for boys imo. They started off pretty LVM-like and thus "relatable," but then eventually became some of the best characters on that show.

This comment is so late in the game but I think Dacre Mongomery who plays Billy Hargrove in Stranger Things may be a HVM.

Dacre talks highly of his family, his sister and mother in particular. He doesn't refer to his girlfriend as his girlfriend very often he makes a point of calling her his "partner", if she helps him with anything at all on his projects he credits her, he credits her for his career taking off because she created a "home" for them when they lived out of hotels during filming, shes a model and he doesn't talk about her physical appearance but rather who she is as a person. He also gave flowers to all of his female cast mates in power rangers. Seems HV to me.

Edit: he also has a necklace that was given to him by his girlfriend Liv that he never takes off, he wore it in each season of Stranger Things. He specifically points out that she gave it to him.
