As long as you don't break the dress code I say go for it. If you're in the states their was a precedent set in the seventies when students wore armbands to protest the Vietnam war and it was consider it their constitutional right of freedom of expression after the school tried to get them to remove it.

Secondly don't egg them on, chance are they'll get into a shitstorm all by themselves. No need to entice them. Let them harass, insult, berate, and threaten you just because you wore a shirt. If asked why by administration just say I believe men's rights are human rights and this shirt exemplifies that.

If you are going to play lightning-rod, you wanna be smarter. Throwing shit into a wood-chipper and seeing what comes out isn't the most productive course of action. Egging on idiots isn't going to play out well enough to be truly worthwhile. You think you'll be able to make observers understand what you're on about, but mark my words, by the time that happens, you'll be suspended and finding out just how short an attention span your community actually has. As an older male, I want to suggest that none of us older gents want you guys to throw away your lives without thinking about the consequences. Better to craft any projects in school around a smart central theme of activism wherein you'll get to actually explain why you hold the opinion you do and is more defensible as free speech, especially within the framework of the curriculum. The t-shirt thing seems intentionally inflammatory without much opportunity for protected debate (read: classroom vs hallways).

Nice try, but it seems a bit button-pushy. If you aren't like that, you need to be tuned in to how it might look to the unaided eye.

I'm not a fan of the Meninist title I feel the title is incorrect and lazy. Someone on my facebook said they found out a 'friend' was a Meninist and ditched them. I knew they leant to the SJW crowd by their likes e.g. Feministing.

However this Meninism stuff shows people's true colours and I really do like that. The fact that people can behave so morally inconsistently is amazing. Unfortunately they are blind to their own failings.

I've worn mine once a week since I got it a month ago. Including to a meeting for the sorority I'm helping start. It's hilarious. The first time, I ended up getting yelled at by a girl who popped into a room I was in (a study lounge where to even know I was in there, you'd basically have to come looking for me) and started off with "Do you really believe that? Do you really believe men are better than women?" and ended with her stomping off after saying "You should be wearing a #Feminism shirt." Yep, that was fun. A lot of the time I just get eyerolls and people go "I can't even..." I kinda spent the entire time with a blank look on my face, no emotion, just saying "No." "Okay." Not giving her a reaction was the best option, I found.

BUT I have had two female professors compliment my shirt! Seriously. Within an hour of each other. One is a professor I have, one is a random professor from the same department. I was so entertained.

Although I'm new and still struggling with the understanding of men's rights, I understand where these women are coming from as well. In the end, it's still a man's world, is it not? I don't think women can even get away with wearing a shirt that says 'womenist' on it. In fact, it seems the men's rights group is far more advanced and progressive than the women's rights organization. It's kind of like being black, or gay...you're always the shit in the bucket. I will always be a second class, well third class citizen in this country.

The women who were bitching...were they white? That question may be irrelevant it seems, but it actually isn't.

Good job for doing what you believe in; although it's always best to keep peaceful when trying to create an image that you want to be seen as positive.

This 'meninist' crap is bullshit, not because of the thought behind it, but because it just doesn't sound right. It should be 'masculist'. Femininity = feminism, masculinity = masculism. I know meninist is meant to sound similar to feminism, therefore the goal is to piss them off. I am just saying that masculism could become a great thing.

Next time wear a shirt that says MASCULISM or don't wear that shirt at all, because wearing a shirt with a political message isn't very masculine in my opinion.
