Bro, there is another bull in the ring! Don't kid yourself. I'm almost certain of it. Mine acted the same way, telling me she just "didn't love me anymore". It crushed me. Soon enough, I caught her! She reconnected with an old high school guy. Pay attention to what she does, not what says. At this point, don't go groveling for love. What's done is done and it is what it is. Do the 180 and start living YOUR life. Don't ask her questions about the marriage, don't chase her, don't plead or beg, don't mope around the house feeling sorry for yourself! Go out and hit a gym, begin a hobby and maybe enroll into a class or something. Show her that you too are moving on. If she doesn't want you, go become the man she can't get back!

Your ex's behavior and poor decision making do not define your value as a human! This was extremely difficult for me to get my head around at first, but I did. With time you will too. You must stop thinking of her as she was and see her for what she really is. The good news is that she is already making this very clear to you. You just have to open your eyes.

It's been about 3.5 years since my ex pulled some similar shit as yours. She nuked a stable & secure family life and ultimately abandoned our children for some loser she met online. She denied the affair then(even when confronted with evidence) and continues to deny it to this day. There is no remorse. There have been no apologies. Not even for the hell she's put the children through.

Her life is a total train wreck at this point. Shortly after the divorce she moved to a different state to be with the affair guy and their relationship predictably ended soon after. She ended up having a restraining order issued on him!
She has completely destroyed her credit, is drowning in debt(I was awarded all marital debt in the divorce so she effectively had a clean slate in that regard), barely employed, and facing eviction. She somehow pretends all of this is a perfectly normal life for a 40 something adult. She still regularly ask me for financial help - above & beyond the ~$2k in support I'm already paying monthly! Still... no remorse and no apologies.

Women move on fast....they evolved a disconnect switch that us men simply don't have. We're usually the ones that want to reconcile and make it work. They in turn will rewrite history and convince themselves you were always the bad guy. She has probably already lined up the next guy and thinks very little for you.

My current girlfriend has mentioned numerous times that she will never reconcile a relationship that ends. She never has and never will.

I don’t know if she’ll “regret it” but she’ll definitely come back to you sooner or later, they always do. It generally happens after whoever she’s sleeping with disses her hard, or she just gets burnt out of the harsh reality that is the dating game and gets lonely.

But by then you either won’t give a shit, or if you do reconcile it’ll more than likely collapse again anyway.

Regardless you need to get on with your life. Start improving yourself and show no weakness nor despair. You need to understand and internalize that it’s over.

In her point of view she was never happy. You can't reason with her because women don't think like us. It doesn't matter how happy she was. The past doesn't matter because for her it doesn't match how she feels now.

Women feel. It can be 100 degrees but if they feel cold then it is cold, period.

Because she dumped you she will eventually feel bad and might reach out but not regretful.

Your worth isn't relevant to how she sees you. Women dispose of perfectly good clothes for example because they get tired of them.

I am currently going through separation. It was like I woke up one day and the STBXW threw a switch and told me that she does not want to be married anymore. This was over a month ago. I have not tired to reconcile with her. I am being civil with her when we do talk. I have started therapy which helps some. The best thing I have done for myself is to take up darts. I was an avid player many, many, many years ago. I am meeting new people and have a good time. It is only once a week but I really look forward to that time out of the house and away from her. Every time I have come back to the house, she has been sleeping and wont talk to me for a day or two. Yes, we are strangers in the same household. I wont call it a home anymore. Now my actions may seem like I am trying to make her jealous and change her mind, but I have no desire to be with her after this shit she has pulled. She sees that I am moving on and she has been more than civil to me lately. My actions are for me and to retry to rebuild my world. Work on your self no matter what it takes. Eat, Sleep, Talk to a stranger. Take care of your self first.

Nah- in my experience it takes a special type of delusional person to simply walk away. They are able to live with themselves because they end up believing all the lies they have told themselves to justify leaving. In their mind you’re always going to be the one to blame, the one who was lacking. It’s pretty shitty but the truth.
