I feel like everyone knows it at least subconsciously. And girls will always talk about the "hot guy" with their female friends. Literally from high school to college to their 30s and beyond, they always will be obsessed with the hot guy. And that's totally okay. I'm just curious why we are not as open about it? It prevents confusion for the minority of guys who think they should only go for the prettiest girls and then be depressed when they're rejected. Instead, if they go for their own level then they are quite likely to succeed.

I guess the proof is clearly out there, when almost 100% of couples are nearly identical lookswise. And "looks" is referring to a guy's face only. But I'm just curious why it's still taboo to talk about male looks being very important. It's literally why the vast majority of rejections happen. A girl doesn't find the guy attractive = rejected.
