The woman is a absolute nut job. She believes that sex is mandatory just like buying groceries and going to work and that it’s okay to have sex even if you don’t want to and that birth control ruined women.

(Possible TW) A woman literally told Lori(Transformed wife) about her experience where her husband asked her to have sex one night and she told him no only to wake up to her husband having sex with her even after she said no and she was asking if it was rape and she said “Well did you feel like you needed to call the cops on him? Then no it’s not martial rape.”

Lori became ‘The transformed wife’ after reading a book(Which was written by a woman I think!) where it put all the blame on the woman and how women need to submit themselves to their husbands in order to fulfill and sustain a ‘healthy’ and happy relationship since she wasn’t doing well with her husband.

Her videos are titled like “Women are no longer marriage material” “Men prefer debt free virgins without tattoos.” “Your work is at home, WAHMENENNN” “Rid yourself of the matriarchal spirit” “Wives, reverence your husband.” “Working mothers cause depression in children.” And so much more disgusting stuff.

She’s a Christian but has a video called “Why younger women need to be taught by older women!…to be submissive and have no purpose in life other than to be a man's incubator.” But hmm I thought only men should lead and teach, Lori? You even said that women must remain silent during church.

Maybe women aren't using their wombs as much as this woman wants them to because they can't find reliable husbands who are capable and willing to provide for a wife and family. So whether they want to be "career women" or not, most women have to work, most households require 2 incomes in order to not live in poverty/be 1 small disaster away from poverty. And if most women need to work, they need to get an education/attain skills in order to have the chance to have a job that pays more than what childcare costs. Add to this-- women of childbearing age are priced out of the housing market, have stagnant wages (and being paid less than men), if they can find decent work to begin with.

But yeah ladies, listen to this misogynistic matriarch when she tells you to fire up your womb and do what you're best at. Doesn't matter if you end homeless, in a women's shelter, or on the wait list for section 8 because you became a tradwife and your husband turned on you.

Women are more than just a vessel for babies. You can go your whole life never giving birth and still be a productive member of society. Many men never father children and no one bat an eye.

However it is true that our unique ability to give birth, and as such hold absolute control over reproduction, is a tool that we should take more advantage of in order to elevate our position in society.

A good rule is that all the pick mes, especially of the anti-feminist or trad varieties, are failing in their self imposed sociobiological imperatives.

Look at the number of single or divorced women kvetching about the tramps who don't deserve to be in relationships (unlike, to take a random example...). Look at the ardent pronatalists who, somehow, only managed to have 0-3 kids themselves. So many examples.

In Lori's case, her husband spends most of his time around career gals and seems to have decided that a divorce would be too expensive.

The Religious Right has stopped, in recent years, with the idea that women should curtail their education and stay under the "covership" of their fathers to find a husband. Men didn't want to marry these women and they has literally nothing to fall back on.

Lori Alexander is a nut and a bad example of a Christian woman. She’s the one who wrote that men prefer debt free tattoo free virgins.

I am active in my religious community and thankfully women like her are not the norm. But as a woman with 2 degrees and a full time job who is also married I feel obligated to encourage teens and younger women to stay in school and finish your degrees. God does not promise you a husband if you do everything right. Also you won’t find one by staying at home and waiting for him to visit at Sunday service.

Turns out you can be single, get that degree, volunteer in your community, have your hobbies, and be financially independent and still follow Christ’s example, no husband needed! Imagine that!

I am trying to apply for a PhD right now, but this whole recommendations letter thing is a complete joke. In STEM most of the professors are old guys and mostly white. Why does no one cares for this outdated practice that is a huge gatekeeper for diversity in STEM?
