NVM need to get their collective two brain cells together and come up with a better excuse than drinking. Of course things didn't work out when they'd rather commit to drinking for multiple hours each night before passing out on the couch and being hungover the next day. The amount of time they're cognitively unavailable for any discussion or housework or childcare due to being drunk or passed out is literally a part time job and it's even more emotional labor on the other partner to work around an alcoholic.

I heard his little whine fest and he was clearly drunk when he gave it even though he claimed he had stopped drinking. He said respect was always the basis of their relationship and he talked about how much he cared about the kids. And yet he goes public for no reason to blame Jennifer Garner 1for his drinking problem, which is his own damn fault and choice, and I can't imagine how the kids feel right now. What a DICK! Plus he was already known to have a drinking problem when he was with Jennifer Lopez.

Totally has nothing to with the fact that alcoholism and addiction run in Ben's family and was a problematic drinker when he was 15. It was totally Gardner's fault when he was drunk in public in 2019 (a full 4 years after they announced their intentions to separate and 1 year after their divorce).
