I get very nervous when anyone tries to tell me how kind, compassionate or nice they are. Experience has shown me that these types of people aren’t this way and only want me to think they are. I’ve learned that people who are truly kind and compassionate don’t go out of their way to describe themselves this way. They just do kind or compassionate things and you can tell they are that way from their actions.
