Apparently according to this guy 110% of women want a 6’3 chad bc of ‘fiction he read’ and ‘seeing it in movies’. He goes on to low key argue with everyone in the comments. He said he’ll ~totally~ try to go to therapy for his insecurity, but in his responses you can tell that he won’t.

This is why I don’t date short men. I used to, but 95% have either a glaringly obvious or a deeply hidden insecurity about their height that will rear its ugly head at some point. Most of them will never get over it. I hope she dumps him.

I'm 5'2" and my husband is 5'8". He's legitimately the only guy I've dated who wasn't self conscious of their height. My first love was 6'4" (imagine that) so I made it a point to date more appropriately sized men after that. All of them, (including the 6'4" but for the opposite) guy had a complex.

Jesus.... My ex was 5' 2" and I am not much taller at 5' 4". He just would not stop telling me these fabricated stories about how he'd "mow down" men at 6 foot something. He would say that he wouldn't hesitate to beat people or even murder them if they pissed him off. He would go as far as starting altercations with strangers in front of me in public and give me the silent treatment if I wasn't impressed. He'd threatened to kill me and my family multiple times if I dared to piss him off for whatever reason. If he thought he was gaining respect by behaving that way, he was completely wrong. The only real concern was that he kept guns under the bed

I'm 5'8" and my STBX is 5'5". He was never insecure about his height, ever.
He loved the fact that I was tall, because that will mean that our kids have a better chance of being average height or taller than me.

The only complaint he had about being short was finding clothes, or reaching for things. That's it. Husband used to joke that he loved being short because he was eye level with my boobs.

I didnt even know this was a damn thing untill seeing stuff posted from here recently. Last year I hooked up with an old ex and he kept bringing up how short he was and shit, I'm like, huh? I didn't even notice? Is that a thing? And he's like, all these girls hate short guys, and he never really believed me. I have only dated tall men. 🤷‍♀️ my current partner is taller than me as well. It is just what I prefer. 😊 I would never date a guy that was shorter than me, they can take their minority complex somewhere else.
