One time, when I was in the Navy. I was giving orders to my subordinates. I wasn't putting up with any distractions, I just finished a 14 hour day. This boy asked me if I was on my period or something. I told him "no, but if I was I would shove my tampon down your throat". Actually, its a perfect excuse, as hormones are naturally fluctuating during and after ovulation. So I wouldnt blame anyone for being a bit moody. Men can inject themselves with estrogen and mess with their own hormones to check this theory out #biology #menstruation

If you don't know how to be kind to a woman during their period, you should probably just date a rock or something.

On another caveat, people talking about testosterone on here are kind of spreading misinformation too. Like sure, testosterone plays a role, but it's so much more than that. The menstruation cycle is a complex things that can not be just explained away with one hormone. It is a disservice to us to say so.
