This comment possibly won't go down well and it'll possibly feel like I'm in "enemy waters" despite the fact everyone here has the common goal of gender equality, but I just want to put something into perspective. While those comments are utterly despicable, they're most likely a result of frustration from a severe lack of sympathy and support towards women from men concerning sexual assaults against women. I don't see enough men raising awareness about misogyny and violence and sexual assault towards women at the hands of men; in fact, I see more men joking about it, devastatingly. Sexual harassment and assault disproportionately affects women and is most often at the hands of men. 97% of young women in the UK have been sexually harassed. Only 1.5% of rapes reach a charge or summons, and those are the ones women are brave enough to press charges for.

If men here are upset seeing those two appalling comments, how do you think women feel, given women experience the vast majority of sexual violence and then there is the unanimous nonchalance from men being the cherry on top.
