This is how to unpack it: women DO judge men according to looks, although their preferred method is according to wealth indicators (expensive consumer items on his person - watch, suit, shoes, haircut, car, etc.).

We know that women rate 80% of all men as "below average" in looks (i.e. not worth pursuing), but they also rate 80% of the last 20% as below average in wealth indicators (i.e. 4% left) , and about 80% of that last 4% as below average in height and other factors. As a group, women are looking at the top 1% of all men ONLY.

And not surprisingly, the average woman never comes in contact with any of those 1% unicorn men.

Which means...

100% of the average woman's interactions with men are the last 99% who she has written off as "undesirable". And as we know, "undesirable" means "creepy" in girl-speak.

It's no wonder that it appears that all women think 100% of men are creepy/disgusting/etc. because ALL of their interactions are with those "creepy" men (but she labelled them creepy herself!).

The really wild part, is that sexual attraction is natural and healthy. Provided you don't act in an inappropriate way, there's literally zero harm in thinking sexually of women. And trying to suppress that (like the assumption "men are gross if they think about women sexually") is just going to lead to more sexual repression and antagonism because it's incredibly unhealthy and just not possible.

They'd never, ever think it was okay to say, "Lesbians thinking sexual stuff about women is gross. They just need to stop." So why is it okay to say the same thing of men?

I can't not share this...

Not my friend directly, but a friend of my GF's friend... So we see her in group settings but that's it. Anyhow, she's a fitness competitor and all she does is post on IG - Sometimes 5 to 6 pic-sets per day.

I gotta say again, from someone who dates both men AND women, the amount of shame people have been conditioned to feel around sexuality is appalling. I see people from both sides perform this kind of aggressive projection - the whole “I sense sexuality and that is evil so I must attack/blame someone or I feel shame”. The difference is we haven’t developed any generally agreed upon social checks for when women do this, and we should. It’s a difficult conversation to have, but I think it needs to be had with everyone of every gender. This sex-and-body shame stuff has got to go.

It just sucks when you're surrounded by men who only ever think about sex. My dad made it blatantly obvious that men only want one thing when I was a teenager and then growing up all my guy friends made it a point for me to know they'd "do me". Used to make me wonder if there were any guys out there who were capable of seeing an attractive women without immediately thinking about how they would have sex with them. I moved and my first job out of my previous town I met guys who never talked about anything sexual in any context. Even after becoming good friends with these guys, they never talk about women in a demeaning manner, and it was so refreshing. It’s like in context of breasts. When they are sexualized it means they are made into sex objects like made to be covered up such that people can’t even breastfeed and shamed like “why are your tits visible, you must be asking for it”. Women’s bodies being seen as a sex doll. Sexualizing women is what Middle East did by making them cover up because apparently or else men can’t control themselves.

Another example of sexualization is the way Eastern European women are portrayed in the west. The pale skin, blond hair, blue eyes is a sexualized so think of it as a more fetishized phenotype. It use to be considered standard of beauty like the Nazi Aryan Race concept.

Porn can be either people expressing personal sexuality so their personal eroticism which is what is newer healthier porn, that isn’t sexualizing. Or it is them being sexualized so used as an object for money how the porn industry was for a long time.

Another note, it’s not really “attractive” woman. It’s a woman you desire. No one is attracting you. It is all in your mind who you desire. they just exist for themselves.
