We need something to describe the difference between Old school Red pill and the newer RP.

People make claims like “Redpill says xyz” that no genuine redpiller believes, and essentially enter into a “nuh uh, no one says that” argument with the op. So let’s sort out our definitions. Feel free to add on.

OG RP: Literally just recognizing dating for what it is, not what we wish it was. Looking at men and women’s actions, not their words. This is not gendered. Both sexes are usually equally to blame for the woes in dating in some way, while recognizing the asymmetrical dynamics and each sex’s advantages and disadvantages. A good example of OG RP is Kevin Samuels. He always handled his shows with a level of decorum and level headedness. And although the clips that went viral were usually of him dunking on women, he dunked on men just as hard.

Neo RP: Usually very one sided. IMO most people that preach this way are trying to sell you something. These are the Fresh & Fit of the world. Entertaining to watch, but piggybacking off of OG RP without the substance. They get highly emotional, whine and scream when they’re losing a debate, and are simply a masculine caricature. They preach how men are supposed to act which not acting like that at all.

Similarities:

Both preach self improvement. Both preach traditional gender roles. Both agree that women are most desirable for youth and chastity, while men are more desired for their looks, status, and wealth.

Differences:

Self improvement:OG RP will direct you to improve and how. NEO RP will sell you a group or a plan to improve.

Subjects like sex work and OF: OG RP will blame men almost more than women for the fact some woman made a million dollars on OF because they’re simps. It’s also the general consensus that escorts are more of a utility, that’s morally neutral. NEO RP seems to hold the consensus that OF hoes are taking advantage of helpless men, and that if you pay for sex, you’re a loser with no game.

How men should act: OG RP is basically to be a gentleman, not a doormat. You’re the man, make the first move, pay the first date, and if she doesn’t reciprocate, move on to the next because you’ve got better things to do. Dating is a thing you do in the background, don’t get hung up on it. NEO RP preaches to fuck as many women as possible, be a player, and not even think about settling down until your mid 30’s. “Fuck bitches get money” essentially. Very much drills into you that your worth as a men is intrinsically linked to how many women you’ve fucked.

I could go on. But most of the comment sections in these debates centered around RP are just people misunderstanding and talking past each other. It’s annoying, unproductive, and generally tiring to explain the difference in what RP is supposed to be and what the F&F watchers turned it into.
