...because they hold absolutely no intellectual or entertainment value to most people? This looks like the kind of comic that a bored 7th grader would draw, not someone who wants to challenge people's viewpoints. It's not clever, funny, or thought-provoking. It's just vulgar and stupid.

What puzzles me is why someone with such a burning desire to get a particular message across in a particular form doesn't put more effort into acquiring the skills necessary to do so competently.

I judge a comic by its humor, if it make me laugh, its a good comic. I am sure some will claim bias here, but a good comic should make one laugh even though any bias you have against it. I do not agree with half the things the Internet Aristocrat use to say, but god damn if his videos weren't funny.

Red Pill comics don't make me laugh, so they are shitty.

It's funny because it's so extreme. Good style for the comedy. The juxtaposition of the dude giving the chick a blowjob is a good metaphor. I mean, it's not "laugh out loud" funny, but looks like something you'd read in the Sunday funnies. I mean, dunebury and Garfield don't make me "laugh out loud" either. But it'll keep my interest for a few minutes. Good enough for me.

This comic is the equivalent of propaganda. It's also tasteless and uninspired. Going by your argument "it offers information", everything should be upvoted.

Like most CMVs here it goes back to how TRP thinks itself to be a scientific fact when there is no actual evidence for it. So no, I'm not interested in your propaganda and I doubt most men are, either.

No? They are even less nuanced additions to an already ridiculous echo chamber. Take the comic above, who cares if she gave blow jobs in college? Is she giving you blowjobs now? Is she forcing you to take multivitamin? Does she remind you of your mom's birthday? The comic doesn't give any good advice on finding someone who makes your life better, it only cautions that anyone you find maybe, years ago, had a brown guy's pee pee in her mouth and ewwwwww....

They are low quality and create very little of value in my opinion.

As someone who is involved in the production and selling of comic books, this is a terrible comic.

The art is terrible, there is no dialogue, no character development, no insight or deeper thought.

The writer/artist takes what they believe to be the truth and slaps it in front of the public in an attempt to 'educate' them. The truth is, people don't want to be educated, they already believe what they believe, so this comic will only appeal to the people who already believe it to be not only true but also something of importance. Which is a rather small part of the population.

In order to reach a new population (the non-already red pill crowd), the writer/artist will have to reorganize their approach from education to exploration. Instead of presenting 'this is how it is' explore 'why is it this way', present something that caused the observer to look inward and come to the conclusion you would like.

Lastly, I don't think anyone is really deluding themselves into thinking a person they are involved with has never had previous sexual partners. Remember that condom campaign about 'having unprotected sex with someone is like having sex with everyone they have ever had sex with'? I mean sure, theres a certain shock value to seeing crudely drawn in a comic that may make you think of your partner with someone else that cause an 'ick' factor. But the truth is, many people just don't care as much as you do, they have already thought about it and come to a very different conclusion than you. And that's okay. Your comic is probably not going to educate them into hating their loyal and loving companion of many years because she gave a blow job to someone else.

I don't understand the criticisism of the artistic style, because I'm sure that the guy who wrote these wasn't striving to emulate Tintin in Tibet.

Can someone explain the allegory in that comic.

In the left panel a woman is fellating a naked man, in a very weird setting. I get the feeling the details of the setting are supposed to convey something, but what? What is the man in the right panel holding? Is he kissing something?

This is "message art" but it's not communicating its message terribly effectively.

A questionable comic about a questionable ideology, presenting it in a way that lacks the sort of nuance that good commentary comics possess? I've seen quite a few of these comics in the past. They're more or less straight copy of RP ideas. There is nothing innovative about them and if anything they muddy the message further with a lack of detail that actually explains what the message is supposed to mean.

So no, these comics aren't good for society imo. Especially if you present them to the uninitiated. Topics like this are at their best when discussed. Not when presented in this manner.

These comics are good and can serve as a cautionary tale but they are a bit too misogynist and extreme for the modern male to digest. Doesn't help either the fact were made by future Elliot Rodgers (PBUH).
