I have never sympathized with RPillars and for the longest time I thought this entire debate was stupid. Well, I guess I still kind of think it's beneath me, but maybe I'm wrong. I'm open to being proved wrong for thinking such.

But I've always been mildly sexist I guess. In the 18th century form of masculinity forged by the gentry. And I was open about discussing my perhaps subconscious sexism with feminists, but here's the thing, they don't want to.

So a while back I did get into a scuffle with the moderators, but here's the deal, I'm socially progressive I like to think in the end if I had a daughter instead of a son I'd empower her to disregard gender norms and become the badass I would have wanted a son to be. But I do recognize I'm subconsciously sexist (which is probably what led to the scuffle and whatever moronic post I left, it was a while back) Mostly, I use the word man a lot as a synonym for humanity and I subscribe to a lot of the old school ideas of masculinity established by the gentry in the 1800s. For the most part, I think it's because it sounds good stylistically in a way woman can't capture. And I would like to evolve on that issue because I certainly do not sympathize with any of the "men's rights" groups that have come about or the whole alt right thing. But basically, I'm apologizing and asking for posting rights. If you think this is bullshit, look through my post history.

But when it's coming from the mods of the feminist subreddit... that's a bit high up the chain of command isn't it?

I'm not going to say I'm sympathetic towards RPillars at all (though perhaps my reasons for not being sympathetic are rooted in sexism)

but... I think this caricature of "SJWs" that's been floating around is not entirely unfounded at all. I think the only way to solve any of these social issues is through discussion, so let's discuss.
