I'm a very type B, easy going, emotionally available sort of partner. Probably a 7 or 8 looks wise. Between jobs. I have a lot of "beta" traits - pretty open about emotions to a certain extent, very affectionate, not really a ton of friends, sort of lack confidence and dominance in everyday life.

I have a girlfriend of 7 months. She is obsessed with me. We are extremely lovey and affectionate and I know she loves this. We are in our late 20s and still act like teenagers, kiss in public and are snuggly and things like that. When we drink we do all sorts of crazy romantic feely and sexual stuff.

Our sex life is amazing. She's very sexually giving and submissive. She lets me do a lot of kinky stuff including freeuse, facial, risky public situations, restraints stuff like that. Pretty rare for me to get turned down. She enjoys being dominated in bed and I've gotten pretty good at this.

I am confident beyond a shadow of a doubt that if I left her, she'd be completely broken. She has penned her hopes and dreams on me, wants to get married, never said I love you to anyone else, cries and can't sleep when we fight, is obsessed with my health and happiness, talks about marriage and wanting to have my babies.

I feel a strong sense of conviction that if we broke up, the next guy should be insanely jealous of me. Like, I get to really do what I want and she lets me do these freeuse sessions which are a literal god mode.

I am also 100% sure the next guy would be more "alpha" than me. It'd be hard not to be honestly. And even if he were significantly more "alpha" than me, I doubt most men could make her feel the way I do. I think she'd pine for the way I hold her and show affection and get along with her family. I am really confident that if she were to meet someone else, that guy would feel like she was "alpha widowed".

But like, I don't think that's really accurate. I'm not this enormously alpha dude. I think she'd miss the affectionate stuff more than anything else. And she'd miss how well I get on with her friends and family.

So I guess my question is like, what's the difference between heartbreak and alpha widowing? Because from where I sit, it looks like a big flaw in RP reasoning.
