My perspective of women is them saying things like:

I’m her first partnered orgasm
I’m longer or thicker than her previous partner(s)
I am open to positions other than cowgirl
I last a decent amount of time compared to others when I want to
They might be happy if I’m going twice in a row, instead of getting tired like their last partner
I love to give oral, which obviously is probably going to be an improvement if their last partner hated giving oral
They’ll tell me “This is how my ex kissed, so I prefer to make out like this”
I’ll get told I’m kind of fitter than a different guy

Like, one of my first longer term partners from high school, while I was dumping her, told me about another guy she tried to get with that was the size of a thumb, and had erection issues. I believe she was telling me this as a compliment partially because she wanted to sleep with me, and partially because she didn’t want me to dump her. I knew the guy, it felt bad and I was embarrassed for him. Women can be really shitty about what they say of other men.

Some do. Women tend to be significantly more detailed than men. They aren’t just like “I slept with X”. They notify their friends when their date starts (for safety mostly), and then often afterwards they’ll tell their friends a bunch of details. You don't understand what a hypocrite is and don't see what standard he's holding them to.

He didn't sleep with many men and then said that women shouldn't sleep with many men. He's not a hypocrite by definition.

And why shouldn't he be held to a different standard? He's a man and she's a woman - they are two opposite sexes and of course should be held to different standards. And if you want one standard, that can be arranged, too. The standard is - sleeping with many men is icky. More importantly, though, he's holding women to his standards and they are holding him to theirs. So we have two different groups of people applying their own standards to two different groups. Of course you can't expect them to be the same. They might or they might not be. It's irrelevant. If they meet the standards, then they meet them.

for people who believe people with high n counts cant pair bond do you believe:

a. that the act of having sex with new people reduces your ability to pair bond. if so, where are you getting this theory from? why would the number of unique people matter?

b. people with a high n counts tend to be less capable of pair bonding inherently, and n counts is a proxy to judge that inherent trait. if so, why use this very vague proxy? why not see for yourself how pair bonding goes?

and regardless of a or b, why rely on this one vague metric? lets say a is true. women slowly lose the ability to pair bond with each new person they have sex with. some woman whos generally very independent and detached has an n count of 1 and due to her baseline, rarely gets too attached and is kind of ambivalent about you. someone else may have an n count of 5 but has a way higher baseline amount of attachment and affection and despite having the higher n counts is significantly more lovey dovey with you. why would you pick the first girl over the 2nd?

you debate with reasoning. you can use studies if theyre relevant. if anything, i find in debates about broad topics, people hide behind cherry picked figures, rather than present convincing arguments. just look at whenever numbers are brought up political debates. it always sounds like bullshit.

studies are always limited, especially studies involving humans out in the world. an individual finding never “proves” anything. you need a framework that makes logical sense, that is consistent with findings. for instance, thinking women lose the ability to pair bond as their n count climbs has no logical framework, and isnt consistent with anything. pulling up some statistic that says people with high n counts are more likely to divorce doesnt “prove” the proposed mechanism in any way.

im not going to make an argument high n count = good. but if you want to say the act of racking up an ncount is causally bad in some way, ill be happy to counter it.

All of the girls I knew that were sleeping with guys in college were routinely sleeping with other college-aged guys. All of the guys that I knew in college and the college-aged guys I know now are banging, even the nerds, and those in intense degrees like medicine etc.

Sleeping with a new person every year, even multiple times a year, is hardly noteworthy behaviour that would prevent you doing other things. People in college tend to want to have relationships, no shit that they're going to happen. A person in their mid twenties with a few LTRs and a handful of situationshjps having a count of 4-5 is nothing to write home about, and I'm speaking as someone with a "low" count.

Anyway, even if you think 5 is a high number Scott has dated about the same number of women. They're pretty evenly matched with (according to you) high n-counts 🤷
